UNDER THE MICROSCOPE

Dean opened his mouth, half-chewed BLT sandwich churning in the maw.
"Dude, gross," muttered Sam, dropping a French fry back on his plate. "You're such an adolescent."
Dean grabbed his strawberry milkshake, slurped noisily through the straw. "Yep."
"Seriously, you're being deliberately disgusting."
Dean pointed a ketchup-tipped fry at Sam, "And I'm going to keep it up until you quit staring at me."
Sam huffed, shifted in his seat, and dropped his eyes.
"I'm fine now, Sam. Well on the road to recovery. Okay?"
"You didn't order a cheeseburger," accused Sam.
"Quintuple bacon BLT, Sammy; it was calling to me!"
