Hi my name is Sonic the hedgehog. I live with my two brothers, Shadow and Silver. We were all different in our own way. I was a colbolt blue, Shadow was black and red and Silver was well... Silver.
Today was the dawn of my tenth year of existence and my mother Aleena, had a special surprise for me.
I had come from the store, bread in my hands. It was a sunny day, nothing to worry about... Until I turned the corner of the streat.
There two men heled my mother, a knife by her throat. My two brothers lay limp at her feet.
The bread dropped at my feet. "S-silver... Shadow!" I yelled, running to them. But a third man, one who I hadn't counted on being there, grabbed my arms and stopped me. My wide green eyes shone with tears.
Mothers eyes were wide with fear.
"S-sonic. Let these nice men take you," she whispered, trying to get out of the mans hands but he pressed the knife closer to her neck.
"Stay where you are slut," one of the men hissed.
I couldn't go and let the men hurt my mother.
"Mum..." I whispered.
"Go!" She cried.
I nodded and ran, but a rope was caught around my neck. I choaked, and was surprised to be caught.
I looked back and one of the men was snarling.
"You will be punished for your actions. "
"M-mother..."
