"A New Melody Begins"
'What am I doing here?' thought Tokiya as he approached the gates of Saotome Academy. He felt apprehensive about turning his back on his current agency, he was Hayato after all and had the responsibilities of being him. He really wanted to remain loyal to his manager and the president, but they just weren't giving him the singing time he desperately wanted and craved. "I really shouldn't be here..." he said with a sigh to himself and started to turn away from the gates. "Hmm? Why do you say that?" asked a red-haired boy with eyes to match curiously. " Why would I tell a stranger? It's none of your business anyways, now please excuse me." Tokiya said sternly and started to walk away from the gates. The boy frowned a little but then followed him as he walked away and Tokiya turned around and asked "What's your purpose for following me?" in an annoyed voice, he thought to himself, 'He must have figured out that I'm really Hayato and that's why he's pestering me'. The boy made his way to stand in front of him and said cautiously yet cheerfully "Um... well... you must have come here because you have a dream to become an idol right? Whatever it is that makes you apprehensive about entering the academy you should just forget about it and join so you can fulfill those dreams!" he said with a bright smile. Tokiya decided then what he wanted to do and replied " Tch.. do you make it a habit to get involved into other people's personal endeavors?" smirking a little "Fine, I'll go inside, my name is Ichinose Tokiya by the way." The fiery-haired boy replied back "My name is Ittoki Otoya, it's nice to meet you Tokiya-kun!" as he grinned. Tokiya felt his heart do something it had never done before, it skipped a beat. His face flushed and he turned it away from Otoya muttering to himself "What the hell is wrong with me?!" Otoya looked at him inquisitively and was about to say something when the first bell rang for the entrance exam. Tokiya said "We should get going so we aren't late for the testing." Otoya nodded and they both started walking towards the school. Although he hated to admit it, Tokiya was feeling less apprehensive and more confident in his decision as he walked into the academy. He had the energetic red-head walking next to him to thank for that...
