Dreams
When Stiles was little and she went by Gem, she dreamed of an island.
Gem mostly played with boys and made best friends with Felix (Stiles' absolute best friend is only Scott for a long time, and then later on becomes partners in crime with Lydia).
Gem's first words to Peter Pan were "Do your eyebrows have superpowers?" (Stiles contemplates saying this to Derek when they first meet, but decides he wouldn't get the joke, so when they're sort of friends and she's halfway through her second Coke, Stiles pokes him in the middle of his forward and asks him that and simultaneously bursts into laughter with the rest of the pack).
Gem has never encountered death as she tromps through the jungle (Stiles drags Scott out into the woods to find half a dead body which ends up with him being turned into a werewolf).
Gem has fun playing tricks on the Lost Boys (Stiles has a spark, but it shuts itself off when her mother dies and the first trick she performs in a long time is a ring of mountain ash around an underground dance party whiles trying to capture Jackson the were-lizard).
Gem has wonderful nights full of laughter and cheer (Stiles has panic attacks and sleepless nights and late-night computer research on her latest project).
Gem dreams of Neverland (Stiles dreams of the Nogitsune unless she drinks her special magic tea as Isaac likes to call it).
Gem has no filter and will say what comes first to her mind (Stiles has to watch her words to remain cheerful and seem dangerous to herself or others).
Gem loves having her hair down in soft curls and having her mother brush her hair for hours and hours (Stiles keeps her hair short and easy to take care of but around senior year starts to grow it out when she gets her triskele tattoo).
Gem doesn't understand why her mother can't stay at home and why she has to stay at the hospital and her hair keeps falling out (Stiles visits her mother's grave every year on the anniversary of her death with her father).
Gem is friends with all the Lost Boys, Wendy, and Tinkerbelle (Stiles is pack mom and family to her pack).
Stiles is actually in Neverland when the Nogitsune takes over her body and her mind has nowhere else to go, and the first thing she does is that she finds Felix and gives him a big long hug (it's kind of sad that she had to get possessed to get back to Neverland in the first place, but her mind is on the here and not how she got there).
AN: I feel kind of bad that the first thing I'm posting in a LONG LONG LONG time doesn't have to do with my multi-chapter story which I've kind of given up on. I also really like the idea of Stiles (female or not) dreaming of Neverland when younger. There are NO story on this topic. None. Zero. Nada. I just had to write it. Even if it's with fem!Stiles.
