Kane Chronicles/Katekyo Hitman Reborn
After the war, Carter and Amos begin to build up old alliances lost throughout the years, to prevent ANYTHING like the war against Apophis happening again. Because Carter never wants to be responsible for sending kindergarteners to war again. Even if it means dealing with the mafia.
When Cleo finds the old treaty with a man called Giotto in the library she is ecstatic because it swears send aid in times of need. And this means no new reasons for the anklebiters to wake up at two in the morning screaming because the snake is going to eat them. Because they'll never have choice again.
She brings it to Carter and begins to research more into this 'Vongola'. Her delight begins to wither away as she uncovers the dark and blood soaked history of a gods-be-damned mafia family. But they are desperate and they need this treaty because Jacobi's followers are still out there.
So they organise a meeting. Carter and Amos go. Their eyes slide right over Carter, he's wearing the traditional black linen and compared to Amos in his robes, leopard skin cloak and cornrows encrusted with jewels and precious metals with matching glasses, he fades into the entourage of guards and attendants. (He spend most of his time with Zia and Cleo, joking around and chatting about the Sadie's latest antics and her and Jaz' weird friendship with the head warlock of Brooklyn.)
Once in the meeting, they settle down. Cleo recording the basis of the revise treaty and Zia watching and observing as well as advising Amos. About halfway through, someone questions Carter's presence as he is giving no visible input. The rest of the envoy has been left outside with only the four of them in the room with Vongola Nono.
"Why, he's the pharaoh."
Amos' statement is met with utter disbelief. They can't believe this- this child is the pharaoh from the stories.
"He's no warrior", they mutter.
Zia, overhearing this smirks and whispers in Carter and Cleo's ears. What she says makes them burst out laughing.
Apart from this, the meeting goes smoothly and they agree to meet again soon to begin the second draft.
After about two months of negotiations, the final draft is completed. Within it, a clause for the continuation of their good relationship. The heirs for either leader must have an exchange of sorts. For two weeks in the summer, the Vongola Heir must stay with the Pharaoh's Heir and vise versa.
The Vongola chuckled at this, still not believing that skinny American was the revered leader of the infamous Per Ankh. Even if he was, imagine what his heir was like.
In a classroom in Brooklyn, a blond girl smirked and went back to planning how to prank Drew.
In a small town in Japan a boy with fluffy hair woke up suddenly as a foreboding feeling trickled down his spineā¦
