Disclaimer: I don't own Alice in Wonderland
Tomorrow
By Angel Kamiya
Alice stood there besides the tree, thinking about her choices. The armor that she wore suddenly felt very heavy on her. The sword that had helped her slay the dragon was being held in her right hand, in her left was the small container that had the blood from the Jabberwocky. The White Queen had told her that she could go home after she drank it. Alice wanted to go home, but there was also a part of her that wanted to stay with her new friends in Wonderland.
As she watched the playing cards and soldiers that had chess pieces for heads line up, she began to think back to the Mad Hatter. She knew how hard it was for her to leave him. There was something important between them, an invisible string tied to both of them, connecting them together.
When Alice heard someone approaching, she gasped and almost dropped the bottle. She turned her head, seeing that it was a woman with long silver hair that wore a beautiful white dress.
"Your Majesty," Alice greeted.
"You haven't drank what I've given you yet," the White Queen said.
"No," Alice admitted.
"Does this mean that you will stay with us?"
"I was thinking about how I was going explain to my family why I've been gone for so long."
"Time passes differently between our worlds. What is few days here is only a few seconds from where you come from," the Queen explained.
Alice couldn't believe what she was hearing. It had been days since she had last seen her family. Getting back was something she wasn't looking forward to mostly because she would have to explain to everyone where she disappeared off to. But the White Queen had told her that when she went back home it would be like no time had passed. Did that mean that she should stay a little longer? What would be the harm of staying in Wonderland for a few months or even more? At that moment, she realized how much she wanted that. Alice realized how much she didn't want to leave.
"It'll be like I never left," Alice whispered, making her decision. "Thank you. I know what I have to do."
Alice turned and started running. After a few minutes, she finally found the Hatter.
The Hatter was holding a sword in his right hand. It looked like he was practicing with blade while dancing. It was obvious that he was as good a warrior as a hat maker. He quickly turned around when he heard her footsteps, looking at her with his big green eyes.
"Alice! You haven't left yet," the Hatter replied, surprised.
Alice opened her hand and let the container that held the blood of the Jabberwocky fall. When it hit the ground, it cracked and the liquid escaped from the bottle.
"I want to stay a little longer, Hatter. I would really like to drink some more tea with you," Alice smiled.
Without saying a word, the Hatter quickly moved forward, and playfully took her hand. The two them moved around the battlefield that looked like a giant chess board from the sky, and began helping those that needed to be taken care of. Alice was happy. It wasn't time to leave yet, she wanted to stay with him a while longer.
This looked like the start of another great adventure.
