this is a great summary of Leias thoughts before her wedding which is not in any of the movies but it is a well known star wars fact that they eventually get married or she wouldnt be known as Leia Orangana Solo.

The big wedding (Han and Leia)

It is finally the big day the biggest and best day of my life except for the day me, Han and Luke defeated the Empire. That was great but today I am getting married to the love of my life Han Solo and we have decided that I will change my last name so I will be Leia Oragana Solo. I have talked to my parents about it they don't really think it's good for my reputation. They really don't understand but anyway I should not be worrying about this at least not today not now today is about me and Han being together forever. It is now 12:00 it is time for me to go to the church. I am finally here okay I just need to think happy thoughts here it goes I am ready for the gasps tears and laughs. Wish me luck
