DB Royal Blood: All Hail King Bardock

A familiar scene plays before you. The scene of a lone saiyan standing over what remains of his comrades at the hands of Frieza's men? Bardock gets in his pod and heads off to Planet Vegeta to stop Frieza from destroying them all. As his pod lands, he rushes into the main base where King Vegeta resides. He almost goes into a room of many saiyan comrades, but he is then hit by a vision of the future. If he goes in there, the others will mock and laugh at his belief that they're all going to die and he will have to face Frieza alone. Bardock decides that if they won't listen to him, they will have to listen to their King. Bardock runs past and barges into the throne room of King Vegeta. Inside are King Vegeta and one of his trusted servants, Nappa.

King Vegeta: "And I want you to make sure that my son is-"

Bardock: "King Vegeta!"

Vegeta and Nappa turn to Bardock.

King Vegeta: "Bardock?"

Nappa: "Hey! What do you think you're doing here low class?!"

King Vegeta: "Quiet Nappa! Bardock, why have you come to me?"

Bardock: "It's Frieza! He sent his men to kill me and my squad!"

King Vegeta: "!"

Nappa: "What?! Are you sure?!"

Bardock: "Yes! It was Dadoria himself that attacked us! My allies are dead and I'm all that's left! Frieza has ordered the extermination of all squads off of Planet Vegeta!"

Nappa: "He did order us all back to home base... it's a set up! He's gathered us all to kill us! My King, what are your orders for this?!"

King Vegeta: "... Forget all of what you've heard..."

Nappa: "My King!"

Bardock: "What?!"

King Vegeta: "I will go and speak with Frieza. I can talk him down. He wouldn't dare waste such strong warriors of his empire."

Bardock: "You fool! He'll kill you on the spot!"

King Vegeta: "Silence! I have dealt with Frieza for years! I know what I'm doing!"

Bardock: "You're dooming our species to death!"

King Vegeta: "That's enough! Nappa, I order you to get this scum out of here!"

Nappa: "..."

King Vegeta: "Nappa! I said to get him now-"

King Vegeta is then shot by Bardock and brought to the ground. King Vegeta looks up to Nappa.

King Vegeta: "... You... stupid brute..."

Nappa: "Forgive me my King, but I won't let the saiyan race be destroyed."

Bardock: "Come on Nappa, we'll have to find a way to make the others understand."

Nappa: "They'll never listen to us... there will be those who rebel, unless they hear from the King."

King Vegeta: "No! Silence... Nappa...!"

Nappa: "King Vegeta has hidden this, but the position of King can be taken in combat. If you challenge him, he has no choice but to accept, or lose the title of King there and then."

Bardock: "So... only one of us can challenge then..."

Nappa: "No... I will not... I am a servant to royalty... it's all I am. A dog ready to bite on command. If you want to rally the others, it has to be you."

Bardock: "... King Vegeta... I challenge you for the throne and title of King of the saiyans!"

King Vegeta: "... I... accept..."

Meanwhile, from the other side of a window of the Nursery, Gine the wife of Bardock looks at her new son Kakarot.

Gine: "Awe~ he's just like Bardock. I can't wait for him to see him."

Gine then hears commotion as tons of saiyans are running towards the training grounds. Gine yells to them.

Gine: "Hey! What's going on?!"

Saiyan: "It's Bardock! He's fighting King Vegeta for the throne!"

Gine: "He's what?!"

Gine runs to get a view of the battle and can't believe what she's seeing. King Vegeta is throwing everything he can at Bardock. Bardock dodges blow after blow, until a single punch brings him down. King Vegeta stands over him laughing, until the vision breaks. Bardock is using his power to see the future to see every attack before Vegeta throws it. Bardock avoids all the attacks and strikes Vegeta every chance he gets. Soon, Vegeta has no choice but to use the Galick Gun. He fires, only to watch Bardock dodge it and fire the Riot Javelin at him. King Vegeta is hit and falls to the ground. Bardock then places his foot on Vegeta. He reaches down and rips off the royalty symbol form Vegeta's armor. Bardock holds it up for all to see.

Bardock: "Now I am your King!"

The saiyans all drop to their knees.

Saiyans: "All hail King Bardock!"

Gine runs through the crowd to Bardock.

Gine: "That was amazing!"

Nappa: "Indeed Queen Gine. Now, King Bardock, what are your orders?"

Bardock: "We need to have everyone ready for this. Gine, how are you feeling after giving birth to Kakarot?"

Gine: "Bored out of my mind from being stuck in a hospital room for so long. What about Raditz? Have you seen him? He should be here to see this."

Bardock: "... No, I haven't... and if he's not here, then Frieza's men have probably killed him and any others with him by now..."

Gine: "!"

Gine is frozen in horror at the thought of her oldest son dead on the day for her second son's birth.

Nappa: "I'm sorry for your loss. The poor kid probably-... kid... Oh crap! I was supposed to go with the Prince on a mission! He's probably still waiting for me!"

Far off on the farthest side of the base, the young Vegeta is waiting for Nappa.

Soldier: "That's odd. Nappa's never late. I wonder if something happened?"

Vegeta: "Who cares? I'm sick of waiting. I'm going now!"

Soldier: "As you order Prince Vegeta."

As Vegeta gets in and is about to take off, another soldier runs up.

Soldier: "Stop! You don't work for him anymore! He's not the Prince any-"

Before he can finish, Vegeta's pod launches off to space. Vegeta flies off with no idea of his father's defeat. Meanwhile, back with Bardock.

Bardock: "It's fine. You're better suited here on the battlefield."

Gine: "Wait! I think you should go and guard Kakarot! I have lost one child today, I don't want to lose another!"

Nappa: "My Queen, I will protect your son. Are you ok with that my King?"

Bardock: "Well, there's no point in arguing. Go Nappa, protect my boy."

Nappa: "I won't fail you!"

Nappa then takes off for the Nursery.

Gine: "So, now what my King?"

Bardock: "Now..."

He creates a ball of blutz waves.

Bardock: "We hit Frieza with everything we've got!"

Up in the atmosphere of Planet Vegeta, Frieza's ship has just entered the atmosphere.

Dadoria: "We're within distance sir."

Zarbon: "Shall I give the order?"

Frieza: "No... I think I would like to personally-"

Soldier: "Sir! Multiple targets heading right as us!"

Dadoria: "On screen!"

The screen clicks on to show thousands of Great Apes flying at them.

Zarbon: "They must've figured it out! What now lord Frieza?!"

Frieza: "I shall handle this..."

Frieza gets out of his chair and exits the ship to be face to face with the army of Great Apes.

Bardock: "FRIEZA! IT'S OVER! LEAVE AND NEVER RETURN, OR SUFFER DEATH AT OUR HANDS!"

Frieza: "Hahahahahahahaha! You dare to stand against me?! Then I will show you the nightmare that is lord Frieza!"

Frieza's armor cracks as he begins to transform to his second form. Meanwhile, back on the planet, Nappa arrives at the Nursery to see it's empty.

Nappa: "What the?! Hey you!"

The head soldier of the nursery turns.

Nappa: "Wasn't there a saiyan born here today?"

Soldier: "Indeed, he was just sent to a planet called Earth moments ago."

Nappa: "What?! Then I need a pod to follow him now!"

Nappa pushes past and makes it to the first pod he can grab.

Soldier: "Wait! That one was Bardock's! It just came back and is damaged! It needs maintenance!"

Nappa: "He said... uh... Earth! Got it!"

Nappa has ignored them and fired up the pod. It takes off in pursuit of baby Goku's pod.

Pod Computer: "Estimated time of arrival: 2 months. Activating hibernation mode. Goodnight."

Nappa: "Ahhhh. Smooth sailing from here."

He closes his eyes as he enters a hibernated sleep.

Pod Computer: "Warning! Damage detected. Pod is in need for repair."

Nappa: *snoring*

Pod Computer: "Activating emergency protocol. Power saving mode activated. New estimated time of arrival: 120 months. Continuing hibernation mode. Sweet dreams."

With that, Nappa's pod decreased in speed and slowly began to make its way to Earth. While Nappa slumbered, all but Bardock has fallen to the power of Frieza's 2nd form.

Bardock: "NO..."

Frieza: "Now, be gone!"

He creates a supernova attack and throws it at Bardock and Planet Vegeta. The blast destroys all the saiyans and leaves Frieza laughing in his victory. Two months later, far off on an alien world, the young Vegeta walks along a desolate sight of a battle. He blasts a pile of rocks that seem to have a small cave underneath. For the cave pops out the low class saiyan, Raditz.

Raditz: "I surrender! Don't kill me please!"

Vegeta: "Get up loser!"

Raditz: "Prince Vegeta! Thank goodness! You're here with troops to save us!"

Vegeta: "No, from all the reports I've heard, it seems you and I are the last of the saiyan race."

Raditz: "What?!"

Vegeta: "No more questions! Now bow at your Prince's feet!"

Raditz: "Yes my Prince!"

As Raditz bows, Vegeta grins.

Vegeta: (I don't care what those reports say! Father may have lost the royal name to a weakling, but now that I've established my place, I have just taken the title of Prince from this fool. Now, I will begin my quest to become the strongest in the universe!)

?: "Well well well..."

The 2 boys look up to see the Ginyu Force.

Ginyu: "It seems we have finally found you Prince Vegeta. Frieza has been looking for you. We're so glad you're ok."

Vegeta: "..."

Meanwhile, far off on Planet Earth, an old man is enjoying his morning walk through the woods when he stumbles upon a mysterious object with a baby crying next to it. He goes to the baby to comfort it.

Old man: "Well hello there little one. My name is Gohan. What are you doing out here?"

Baby Goku: "Da ya wo."

Gohan: "Well, I think you should stick with me till we find your family little one."

Baby Goku: "Dawahahaha."

Gohan: "Until we find your home, I think I'll call you... Goku! Little Goku."

Baby Goku: "Hahahaha!"
