Hey everyone! I randomly thought of this while reading and was like 'sweet something new'! So yea, on with the story! Hope you like it :)
BEEP-BEEP-BEEEEP! "POPCORN'S DONE!" yelled 17 year-old Ashley, on a humid summer night. Why, you might ask? Her younger sister Emily was having a Fullmetal marathon and Ashley got the pleasure of having to watch it with her, despite the fact that she only knew a slight bit about the show, such as who the characters were and what exactly alchemy was.
"Bring it out here will ya?" The 15-year old brunette called out to her sister in the kitchen. Ashley and Emily are orphans, who's parents died only a year ago in a car accident, leaving Ashley in custody of her younger sister and owner of their estate since they had no other living relatives.
"Hey sis, is something burning?" Emily asked her, looking curiously back to where Ashley was located.
Ashley opened the bag and peered inside only to gag and drop it. " Really?!" She yelled, then sighed "Again, I'm a horrible cook..." After airing out the kitchen and cleaning up the mess, Ashley went into the living room empty-handed.
"Where's the popcorn?" Emily asked, feeling the sofa dip beside her and grabbing the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood case, putting the second season into the DVD player.
"I kind of burnt it... Again... Hehehe" the blonde muttered, looking sheepishly at Emily.
Emily giggled beside her, "Its fine, and anyways, you kept your promise on watching this with me since Rebekah couldn't make it tonight." After starting episode 11, "Hologram" by Nico Touches The Walls came on and Emily grinned, quickly asking her sister who she would most likely be paired with. "I would pick Edward for me, but then again, he's paired with Winry and they do make a cute couple. However, for you I would say your stubborn personality would go great with Envy."
"If you say so" Ashley replied, glancing towards her. "But I don't think we would be able to stand each other, and he's to psychopathic for me anyways," she grinned. The sisters focused their attention back to the screen, watching Envy walk into a cell where Dr. Marco was located. Suddenly, the power went out, leaving the entire house in darkness. The TV flickered on, going from the black, white, and grey static screen to an all white void with a strange looking doorway of sorts in the center. Emily shrieked, her arms wrapping around her sister who was beside her, who in return, had her eyes wide and her body shaking in fear.
A figure appeared in front of the gateway, not quite a body but with a black outline of one filled in with slight shapes of a mouth, nose, and eyes. However, that figure was all white, with a slightly creepy grin on it's face. "Hello humans, you must know who I am, however, I will let you know again. I am called by many names, I'm the world, I'm the universe, I'm God, I'm Truth, I am all. I am one, and I am also you.
"Is this part of the episode?" Ashley asked her shocked sister.
"No!" She whispered back only slightly louder.
"QUIET!" Truth yelled, then laughed. "I have a few tasks for you two humans. I need you to save someone who would originally die, and I need you to turn a Homunculus good. The last, and most important, no matter how much you change the actually turn out of the story, would be to make sure Father is destroyed, whether you help in that or not. That is all, now I hope this won't hurt." He told them, then everything was shrouded in darkness.
