Vegeta:Those Precious Seconds
NOTE: Yes I know it didn't happen like this in the movie. Mainly because I haven't seen it yet and figured that they should've emphasized that moment better.
I see myself.....
I look down on you....
My image on your face forever...
The blood starts to run,
and the countdown begins,
You were the first to go.
I scorn on my failure,
at protecting you,
I didn't want you to be one of them.
Forgive me for not being the father,
That I didn't get a chance to be,
Forgive me for never being there for you
When you were down and you needed me.
There you lay,
The hole in your chest,
But the hole in your heart is much larger.
I sense you felt stupid for letting your guard down,
To cry, its growing much harder.
Your last seconds of breath,
I saw your stare.
Staring,
Struggling to live,
They spoke "Please tell me you loved me."
I wanted to place a hand on your shoulder,
To tell you that it was true,
But your eyes just closed,
As your soul started to rose,
Off to the heavens above me.
Your armor is tarnished,
Broke and abash,
You wore it in honor of Saiyan,
You wanted to show that our race was strong,
To keep our memory from dying.
Lay the eternal sleep my son,
Dream a dream of serenity,
Never will you walk with these mortals,
But to soar in the skies for eternity.
Never will you drink the crystal water,
Or a sunrise, where its warm beams flash,
Lay there peacefully,
My only son.
For this,
I will go and kick Perfect Cell's ass.
