DISCLAIMER: I don't own Bleach. Tide, yes, but Bleach, no. (You know you love the bad puns. XP)

Matsumoto sat in her office avoiding paperwork. It was a sunny afternoon, she was bored, and her captain had disappeared mysteriously a few hours ago. She sat at her desk, filing her nails, thinking about nothing in particular, except hoping that she would have an opportunity to complete her work before Hitsugaya returned. When he came back he would surely yell at her for not completing the work.

Her captain burst into the room. "Taichou!" Matsumoto exclaimed, surprised, emerging from her daydream.

Hitsugaya, headed hurriedly towards his desk. "Did you even bother to do any of the paperwork?" he said, looking at the leaning stack of papers on her table.

"No?" said Matusmoto guiltily.

"So you left if all for me again?" asked Hitsugaya.

"I'm sorry!" said Matsumoto. "Then again," she said, "Where did you disappear to all afternoon? You could have done it yourself!"

"Nowhere." Said Hitsugaya hurriedly, immediately immersing himself in paperwork.

"Of course." said Matsumoto, sarcastically, seizing an opportunity to tease her captain, which happened to be her favorite pastime. "If you went nowhere, why do you have lipstick on your cheek?"

"What?"

"Right above your lip on the left."

Hitsugaya rubbed his cheek furiously. "There's nothing on my cheek!" he exclaimed.

"Right."

"Honestly!"

"Taichou, were you kissing someone?" asked Matsumoto, laughing.

"NO!"

"I think you were."

"I wasn't!"

"I bet it was Hinamori-kun."

"You're wrong!"

"Of course I'm wrong," said Matusmoto sarcastically, enjoying the varying shades of red on her captain's face.

"I wasn't kissing anyone!"

"You keep telling yourself that."

Hitsugaya, apparently giving up, immersed himself once again in paperwork, blushing furiously. Matsumoto, giving up on her teasing, retreated also to her work.

A few moments passed, then,

"You've probably kissed a lot of people, haven't you Matsumoto?" asked Hitsugaya.

"Yeah, something like that," Matsumoto responded.

Hitsugaya paused, embarrassedly, his face turning even redder. "Well then," he asked, "how do you know if you kiss well or not?"

Matsumoto started snickering in her mind, but kept a straight face. "Well," she said, "A good kiss is firm and passionate, but gentle at the same time."

"Firm but gentle," muttered Hitsugaya.

"And you don't want to be too harsh. That may imply something you don't want," continued Matsumoto.

"Not too harsh," said Hitsugaya.

"In fact," said Matsumoto, walking toward her captain's desk, leaning over, hit by a fresh wave of desire to tease her captain, "a good kiss is something like this."

Hitsugaya promptly felt a pair of lips against his own. He stood there awkwardly for a few moments, not daring to break away. After a moment or two, Matsumoto stood back up, returned to her desk, and continued with her paperwork, leaving a dumbfounded Hitsugaya in her wake.

It took Hitsugaya a few moments to acknowledge what had just happened. Still slightly astonished, he sat back down and continued with his paperwork, not looking at Matsumoto.

'She really does know what she's talking about,' he thought.

A/N- Wow. I have no idea where that came from. This was originally a Hitsu/Hina fic that actually had Hinamori in it, but it was warped a little bit. I dunno. I guess ideas come from random places.

And this is not supposed to be Hitsugaya/Matsumoto. It's really just supposed to be Matsumoto having fun teasing her innocent little captain. I don't know if it turned out that way, but whatever.

Review, please!
