Sorry I don't update, and when I do, it's such a tiny story. I'll try to update more.

Luke is extravagant. Everything he cooks is overspiced, overcooked, or inexplicably sopping wet. In the end, it amounts to the same thing: somebody gets sick.
Anise gets angry at the pots, pans, fire, and food. She kicks things when they don't cooperate. Sometimes her foot connects with a pan full of scalding greas or a pot of boiling water.
Everyone thought Jade was the best cook for a while. He didn't harm anyone - at first. Then they noticed some of Jade's flasks of chemicals were opened and the food would taste strange. Nobody wanted to be gerbils, so they simply thought it best not to ask quesitons, and Luke quietly asked Tear to start cooking.
It's not that Tear was very bad (relative to their past cooks, anyhow), it's just that everything she made tasted like cardboard. Anise found herself missing even Luke's concoctions.
So Natalia took it upon herself to cook, and it was quite the experience. She burned toast, ramen, water, salad, and pizza. Curry was bland and even simple sandwiches were soggy.
And all eyes finally turned to Guy.
He may not have been the best cook at first, but they stuck with it because his dishes never put anyone into cardiac arrest.
And that was definitely an improvement.
