Max flees from Bree, the leader of RIFT, now that the entire planet is shut down with a blackout with the loss of his best friend, Will, from the virus made by him and the terrorist group.
"No, it can't end like this," he muttered to himself before running back to the same place where he is with Bree one last time.
"Max, what are you doing? I thought you're going home," she is surprised by his presence.
"I'm going home, but I'm going to do one last thing before I do."
"And what's that?"
With anger on his face, he makes a fist and lands a punch to her face, causing her to fall to the ground in pain.
"I hope it was worth it," he said scornfully before heading home. Of course, she knows what he is punching her for.
Bree may not get her punishment for her terrorist acts, multiple murders, her kidnapping him, and threatening him if Will doesn't kill himself with the virus, but a single punch in the face is good enough for her comeuppance.
