I have a love-hate relationship with the Fates.

See, 'm a half-blood. Yes, that kind of half-blood. The half-god kind. And yes, before you ask, the so-called "myths" are true.

Being a half-blood gives anyone a dangerous life. Most of us die painful, nasty deaths. And, if you're not on Hades' good side, you'll have a painful afterlife too.
