Star Wars The Aftermath: Chapter 1
After the victory celebration on Endor the group of 6 headed for the Millennium Falcon and walked aboard waving goodbye to the Ewoks. When they were all on board the walkway closed and it took off into the night sky. The Ewoks kept watching it until it was out of sight. While Han was piloting he looked out the cockpit window and realized that it was the first time in a long time that there were no Imperial ships either chasing him or just there waiting for him. Luke sat down and thought about where their next destination was going to be. Leia, tired from the celebration laid down and drifted off to sleep. Chewie was also tired so he also went to sleep. R2D2 plugged himself into an electronic outlet to charge up, and C-3P0 shut himself down.
Luke slowly walked to the cockpit and sat in the seat next to Han. "Han." Said Luke sounding concerned, "Yeah, what is it?" replied Han, "I've been thinking of where to go next and I can't think of anything. I mean, the war's over and there's nowhere to go. Do you have any ideas?" asked Luke, "Well, I was thinking of going to Cloud City," Luke looked a little confused, "Why?" Han replied, "If you remember I know Lando and he might be able to get us a place there to live for a short while until we figure out where we are going to go and what we're going to do, if that's okay?" "Sure, it's a lot better than anything I could of thought of, and at least now we won't have to worry about being attacked by Imperial soldiers."
2 hours later they arrived at Cloud City. After they landed Han contacted Lando and told him that they didn't have anywhere to go and were wondering if they could stay at Cloud City for a while. Lando rushed down to the docking bay and congratulated them for destroying the Imperials and had them follow him to their room.
"Thanks again Lando" Said Han, "No problem, anytime you need my help you got it, but right now I have to go to a very important meeting so I guess I'll see you all later" replied Lando. After he left, Han said, "Ummm, I need to go get some stuff from the Falcon so I'll be right back." Then he rushed out the door and walked through the city for a while until he saw a sign, "There we go." Han said excitedly. He walked into the store and told the cashier, "That one will do." Then the cashier took it from the glass case and put it in a bag, "Thank you and come again." Said the cashier as Han hurried back to the room.
As he walked into the room he took it out of the bag and hid it behind his back, "Leia, come here Leia I need to ask you something." Said Han, "What is it Han?" Leia said as she walked into the room. Han slowly got down on one knee, took out the ring that he just bought, and asked her. "Leia, will you marry me?"
