Sebastian walked in the door to his flat, eyes red and hair rumpled from running his hand through it multiple times. He had just come back from scrapping bits of his boyfriend's brains off the roof of the hospital and was in a horrid state. Sebastian stopped in the hall and the cigarette in his mouth fell to the floor. The fireplace was lit and the chair his boyfriend had always sat in was pulled closer to it and facing it, its back to Sebastian.

"Sebby, can you go grab me a cup of tea?" A rich and casual voice asked from the chair. His voice. The only voice Sebastian had always wanted to hear, but not now. It was too cruel for him to hear it now. Next the voice came from the couch, high and whiny this time.

"Seeebbyyy why did that hit take so long? I wanted to cuddle an hour ago." The cigarette slowly burned out on the cold tile floor of the entry hall. The next time the voice sounded from the kitchen, honestly it wasn't a voice, it was the sounds his boyfriend had made when they had sex. Low moans, heavy breathing, a loud climax. Any other time those sounds would have turned Sebastian on but now it just made him sink to his knees. He felt tears start to stream down his cheeks and as he stared at the room in front of him and he noticed a pool of liquid underneath the chair, dripping from the seat. Blood. Sebastian put his head in his hands and sobs wracked his body.

"Sebby… don't cry. I was just playing a little game. Please… please look at me." Sebastian looked up and saw Moriarty crouching next to him, concern playing across his face. Sebastian stared at him in shock for a second before slapping him across the face. Moriarty fell flat on his ass and Sebastian immediately pulled him back for a crushing hug. Moriarty's hands loosely clutched at Sebastian's shoulders and he muttered softly.

"I'm sorry… I thought you'd know the difference between a recording and a real voice."

"Shut up. Just let me be happy you're alive." Moriarty nodded just ever so slightly and let Sebastian hug him tight, keeping his body pressed against his boyfriend's.

"Why… just… why would you do that to me?" Sebastian asked, his voice cracking.

"Because I'm a sadist, Sebby."

"You're a bastard is what you are." Sebastian said but he none the less pulled Moriarty even closer to him. "And for some reason I still love you."
