(A/N Happy Valentine's Day everybody! Well everybody except me who just got braces on.)

Your Heart Is a Vital Organ

Percy

"What's the chocolate for? What did you break?" Annabeth looked at the chocolate I had gotten her.

"Nothing!"

"Perseus Jackson, why else would you get me chocolate?"

"It's February 14th."

"Why does the date matter?"

"It's Valentine's Day."

"Oh, it is? I forgot."

I handed her the chocolates. "How was that not obvious? The box is in the shape of a heart."

"No it isn't. Your heart is a vital organ. This is the commercialized version of it. A heart has four chambers…"

"It's supposed to look like a heart."

"Well, it doesn't."

"You're impossible."

"No, I just know what a heart looks like and this most certainly isn't it."

"Who cares if it doesn't look like a heart? Come on, Annabeth I planned a lot of stuff out. Could you just play along?"

"Fine."

I led her to the side of the lake, where I had set up my picnic blanket.

I pulled a tin out of the picnic basket.

"Cookie?"

The cookies were blue and heart shaped. Or they were supposed to be heart shaped, anyway.

"Not what a heart looks like." Annabeth rolled her eyes, but took one anyway.

I kissed her on the cheek. "I know. I know."

She was about to eat the cookie when I pushed her in the lake.

"Perseus Jackson!"

I jumped in after her. "It does look like a heart!"
