What Would You Do If I Told You I Love You?

Wataru stood outside the club house door with a bouquet of red and purple roses. He knew that Valentine's Day was for girls to give guys chocolates and such, but he really needed to get his confession out. Sense the day he saw him, he knew he was in love.

"Morning," he heard Ryosuke say to him. "Who are those from?"

"Ummm... Some girl at Washizu high. I didn't get her name."

"Good for you. Are you going to try and date her?" Ryosuke asked.

"Not sure. I still like Mari-chan." Wataru mumbled.

"Well, see you later." Ryosuke said as he walked towards the classroom. He was soon flooded by girls wanting to give him their hearts.

"If only they knew how much he toys with girls." Wataru jumped when he heard Yuta's voice. "Who gave you those?" He asked. "They are pretty."

Wataru scratched his head. "They're from no one."

Yuta smiled. "Then she must be great for you to give her flowers on Valentine's Day."

"Yeah..." Wataru's face got hotter. How was he going to tell Yuta they were for him?

"You better get them to her before they die" Yuta went to turn away. He had a tiny bit of wishful thinking that those roses were for him, but after Mizusawa was exposed, there was no way that he could tell him.

"Wait!" Wataru said as he grabbed Yuta's shoulder and turned him around. Both of their faces as red as Wataru's fading hair. "They... They're for you." Wataru shoved them in Yuta's hands and ran away.

Yuta's face got hotter from the confession. He brought the roses up to his nose and breathed in their smell as he leaned against the wall. His cat like grin doubled in size.

'He likes me...'

Wataru was bright red as he walked the halls. He had confessed to his friend that he liked him and ran like a baby.

"Azuma-Senpai," a cute girl with glasses and short hair said. She was fidgeting with the box she had. "I-I made these for you." She stuttered. She pushed them into his arms and turned quickly away.

"Wait," he said. She turned around quickly. She was facing downwards. "Thanks you." He said as he smiled. She nodded and ran back to her classroom. He sighted and opened the box. It was a small piece of cake with some homemade chocolates. It was the first he had received in a while. Being a yankii and all, not many girls would talk to him.

Wataru walked into the classroom. Almost everyone from the team was gathered around Yuta's desk, asking him about the flowers. Wataru was about to bolt out of the room when Ryosuke smiled at him.

"Looks like you have a rival." He said.

"I guess so." Wataru replied dryly. He didn't want to think about what Yuta was telling everyone. Nor did I want to know the answer to his confession. For once he was happy for the beginning of class. He didn't have to worry about Yuta saying anything to him yet.

By lunch Wataru was a wreck. He had worked himself up so bad with nerves that he went to nurse's office during third period. He had been debating wither or not to go home. But he decided that his mother would kill him for coming home or ditching again.

"Hey Wataru!" Yuta called as he walked closer. "Can I talk to you?" He asked.

"Sure..." Wataru replied. Those were the words you never wanted to hear in your life. The butterflies started again and he felt like he was going to be sick. He got up and walked with Yuta to the club room.

"So what did yo-" Wataru started only to have Yuta push his lips against his own.

It wasn't hot and passionate like in the movies, but it was softer, more pure. Something he would have expected from the captain. He pulled back just enough to see Yuta's face. His eyes were filled with love and trust.

"I return your Valentine's confession." Yuta said before he kissed Wataru's lips again and that time Wataru kissed back.
