The New Puppy
One early spring morning in Bikini Bottom Spongebob was walking to work. "I'm Ready! I'm Ready! I'm Reaaaaaady!" While he was singing his "Ready" song he stumbled upon a cardboard box. " Hey, what's this?" Spongebob said as he was picking himself up. He opened it up and discovered a cute little puppy. " Oh wow! A puppy!" "I'm going to show Mr.Krabbs my new friend." At that he picked up the box and headed off to the Krusty Krab. "HI SQUIDWARD!" Spongebob said as loud as he could. " Do you want to see my new puppy?!" "No" Squidward said obviously disinterested. " OK you can look at him but don't touch him." " Wow." " I know isn't he the cutest thing you have seen!" " Yeah, whatever." Spongebob walked back to the kitchen and set the puppy down. " Now you stay here puppy while I go to wash my hands." Spoongebob strode off to the bathroom. Being a puppy, he did not listen and he walked out of the Krusty Krab, no one paying him any heed. Spongebob came back and by that time had forgotten about the puppy and didn't miss him. Meanwhile the puppy was walking around in the middle of Main Street, Bikini Bottom. He walked right through the middle of the intersection causing a 14-car pile up and a huge traffic jam. Then he stole a Krabby Patty from Plankton and gobbled it up. "Curses you puppy I almost had the secret formula!" " BARK!" said the puppy and the noise alone blew Plankton away from him. Back at the Krusty Krab Squidward asked Spongebob where his puppy was. "Squidward he is right her. AHHH where did he go!" Spongebob went into a frenzy looking for his puppy but could not find him. While Spongebob had his problem downtown, Bikini Bottom had its own. " This is Tuna Fish live at downtown Bikini Bottom." " There is a horrible green monster terrorizing our fine city." AHHHHH! " It's coming closer!" Houses were on fire; people were running around screaming the place was a mess. Back at the Krusty Krab Spongebob was watching the news and he saw something familiar about the monster. He went downtown to see if he was right. " I Gotcha!" Everybody started cheering and then Spongebob pulled off the green monster mask. It was his puppy! Somehow when he had gone into the mask shop it had fell on him and he couldn't get it off! Even though Spongebob had 'saved' the town they made him give the puppy to the animal shelter so he could have a responsible owner. "Bye puppy, I'll miss you!" Spongebob said with a tear in his eye. " Oh well, I still have Gary!"
