Just a little fluffy one shot I wrote after watching New Year's Rocking Eve hosted by Ryan Seacrest. I finally got it typed. Hope you like it!
I would also like to go on the record that I do not own the warehouse or the TV show Warehouse 13. If I did, there would be more episodes and it would no longer be a summer season.
Todd jumped out of the car and ran around to my side of the car, opening the door for me. He is so sweet sometimes... We are in New York for the New Years party celebration thingy. He surprised me with tickets to New York for Christmas. I am so excited! This has been on my bucket list since the first New Year celebration I remember having with my parents. I didn't see them much after that, unfortunately...
Enough of that. Today is supposed to be a happy day. And so it will be. It's three o'clock in the afternoon on New Year's freakin' Eve! I can't believe we have to be here for 9 hours before the party! It's gonna be crazy epic!
So it's almost ten now and Dick Clark is about to start the show! I don't know who is performing tonight, but we got front row seats- I mean, front row standing space... There is absolutely no more space anywhere! A couple of minutes ago someone came by and handed out some weird looking hats that said "2011-Happy New Year!" (ok, so maybe I exaggerated on the exclamation points... But hey, its New Years Eve!
Ok, now it's 11:45 and there have been several performances by a bunch of different people, and none of them have been really good. Kesha was really creepy... I mean she killed a bunny! Not to mention her outfit! That looked like it had artifacty stuff going on... Willow Smith wasn't too bad, although I'm pretty sure she was lip-synching. Oh well, she is very young. Taio Cruz was pretty frakkin' awesome! We were all dancing and having fun, even though we were cold and squished.
The countdown is starting! Wait, Todd's trying to tell me something... I can't hear! There's 3 seconds left! Oh my crap! He's kissing me! And its 2011! Holy Frak! That was amazing! I didnt really understand the point of kissing someone into the New Year, but now I do! And the fact that we're in NYC makes it even cooler!
And now I understand why we came...
