The story/one-shot is the other story of what happened after 'Ok was returned to Neytiri in chapter 4 of Seven Years. Just a recap; Amhul is now mated to a screwy woman named Kyuna, Kyuna's mother is prissy, and Swaw is the little teenager who helped 'Ok out of the clan.
Amhul woke up the next morning to find his daughter gone. Neytiri was the first person he thought of and the anger inside him began to grow. Kyuna had come to him just as he was about to snap. She stepped awkwardly towards him as she always did.
She began to explain what she heard the other night. "I heard her last night. She talks in her sleep. She said she wanted 'Mommy' and that she wanted to go home. There was another voice. It was a girl too. She said that she take 'Ok home."
Amhul looked at Kyuna and asked, "Why didn't you wake up and keep her here?" The rage in his voice was becoming violent.
"I was asleep myself. Eywa was telling me the words in my head." She pointed to her forehead three times. Each time it was poked stiffly. "Eywa said her name was Sraw, but there are no Sraw's in our clan."
Swaw had walked in on the adults' conversation. She looked guilty, but Amhul and Kyuna were too involved in the conversation to notice her. She cleared her throat and had their undivided attention.
"My father demands to speak to you, Amhul." Swaw said trying to avoid his 'death-stare'.
"Perhaps he has come with my child." Amhul stated harshly.
"Perhaps he has come to take you away forever." Swaw said under her breath. Amhul didn't hear it though; he was making his way down the Tipnai Hometree.
He came to the bottom and saw the man standing there looking as though he would slash his dagger through Amhul's throat. It was Omati, one of the clan's best hunter and loyalist member.
"Oel ngati kameie, Omati." Amhul gave him the proper gesture to greet him.
"I saw the child escape last night. My daughter helped her." Omati said sternly.
Amhul thought for a moment. Omati had two children; the eldest was Lompo, his son. And the other was…Swaw.
"What child? I don't know what—"
"Your child, the girl. I know you took her. Swaw had told me. I tried to bring her here years ago when you told us she was with her mother. She was taken away back to the Omaticaya and you didn't even try hard enough to keep her."
"I put up a fair fight with him!"
"No, you handed her off only to steal her away years later! Why is it so important that you hurt this woman you gave your own child life?"
Amhul was quickly losing ever ounce of patience in him and suddenly attacked Omati. Amhul grasped Omati's throat and choked him into unconsciousness.
Little did he know every clan member watched him, including Swaw.
"Daddy!" She cried having tears roll down her cheeks. She would've run to his side, but was being held back by her mother and brother.
Amhul was forced away from the sight by the Tipnai clan's Olo'eyktan. Kyuna and her mother watched to sight as well. Kyuna started tears of her violent mate finally getting what he deserved all along: a death sentence.
So there's what happened to Amhul and everyone else after 'Ok went back to the Omaticaya. And don't worry, Omati is fine, he just was passed out. I bet some of you are going "Yay, he's dead. Now 'Ok and Neytiri and anyone else threatened by him is safe." and I don't blame you for your happiness.
