Angel sighed. It would be hard leaving Max and the flock, but it was the best thing for Angel. She had to take over. If things got out of hand again...She couldn't even finish the sentence.

"Angel!" Max called. "It's time to eat!" Angel hopped off the branch she was leaning on and flew over. She arrived at the field they were eating on, and saw that tonight the flock was going to eat sandwiches, made from the supplies that weren't destroyed. She walked over and took a cheese one.

"So, update." Max ordered. Nudge gave a short speech about how she and were helping the superhuman children heal, Iggy and Gazzy said that they played with the sick children, Fang and Max claimed they helped rebuild the treehouses, and Angel and Total fished in the river. It was a wonderful day. Angel couldn't help notice that Dylan wasn't there; he said that he was going to travel over the country to help others. They didn't even give him a good-bye party.

When the flock and Total were asleep, Angel was packing. She was grateful her sight and wings could work again ( did a bit of surgery, and her wings recovered after a few weeks). She gathered a week's worth of food and water, a brush, knife (this was only for necessary situations), and a few pairs of clothes. By midnight she was ready to go. She zipped up her new windbreaker, put a picture of the entire flock in her pocket, and climbed out of her slightly damaged treehouse.

"Goodbye, Max, Fang, Total, Gazzy, Iggy, and Nudge. I hope I see you again." These were Angel's last words before she took off into the violet sky.
