Tarot of the Week
Author's Note: This would have been Week 11, but I was busy then. So, I'm writing three fanfics this week. Anyways, back to the chosen card of Week 11. The Seven of Wands is not a happy card. This is one that indicates someone is being attacked in some way and they are most likely on the defensive rather than the offensive. In fact, the card I'm using illustrates a person wielding a Wand and a shield against six other Wands; and they are cornered on a perch with nowhere to run. However, they are also on higher grounds, indicating that all is not lost. Basically, they are in a precarious situation where losing is very likely, but there's still a chance to retreat and lick their wounds for the next battle, or better yet, a chance to turn the tides and win.

Week 12: Seven of Wands (Inuyasha)
"Inuyasha?"
The soft voice is accompanied by her poking his cheek. Dog ears twitch and he groans, turning around and burying his head into the blanket.
"I want ice cream and pickles."
"We don't have ice cream, Kagome," he mutters, voice gruff with sleep. "The well is closed, remember?"
"Alright, then I want chocolate-drizzled hamburgers."
"We don't have that either."
"Fine," she huffs, sitting up and glaring down at her husband. "Final offer. I want spaghetti with strawberry jam and feta cheese."
"We don't have that either," he sighs, finally turning back to face her only to see her brown eyes narrowing dangerously.
"In. U. Ya. Sha. SIT! Sit! Sit! Sit! Sit! Sit! Sit! Sit! Sit! Sit! Sit! Sit!"
In the hut next to theirs, a newly awakened Miroku and Sango exchange looks and shake their head at the half-demon's misfortune. With her pregnancy hormones on the rise, Kagome loses her temper more often and poor Inuyasha always had to pay the price. It doesn't help that she constantly craves foods that can only be found in the future; and when her husband can't deliver, well… this happens.
