.:Crossing Paths:.

The black-haired Gryffindor girl walked with her brown-haired friend Hermione. She smiled her daydreamer smile and nodded in agreement at a comment the latter made. The girl blinked and looked up, spotting a male with platinum blond hair turn a corner, heading down the hall toward them. Her gaze followed him as he walked, but no one noticed. He then looked up at her, smirking as he headed her way. As he passed, he bumped into her, pushing her books out at the same time. She gasped, her books dropping and scattering over the floor.

Hermione gasped. "Sovay! Are you all right?" she asked worriedly.

Sovay blinked and looked from Hermione to the boy. "Oh, I'm fine. After all, it was my fault for walking into him, right Draco?" she inquired, smiling up at him.

The male scoffed and turned, continuing down the hall. Sovay then knelt down and began to pick up her books. She listened to Hermione's ranting about how rude Malfoy was, but soon her voice faded out as she glanced up, smiling slightly at the boy's retreating form.
