Love me Like Her.

I store up at the night sky; it was pretty dull considering it was summer. There were no stars, no moon, not even the light from a distant plane, just darkness.

I reached for my torch; I knew it was beside me as I could feel it on my hand. I flicked the switch and brought the field to light. I loved the way the light bounced off the grass and how calm and peaceful it was.

'Are you okay?' The Doctor whispered.

'Yeah, I just miss my mum and my family a bit' I laughed trying to force a smile.

'Listen, I don't want to force you to do anything you don't want to do. If you want to go home, I won't mind' he said.

'Did Rose ever ask to go home and miss out on all of this?' I hissed.

'No… but she was different' The Doctor said automatically jumping to her defence.

'What you mean she was better than me?' I asked.

'Martha!' he suddenly yelled 'That's enough'

I stood up infuriated.

'You know, sometimes I wonder whether you really want to travel with me or whether I am just a distraction from your beloved Rose Tyler'

'Don't be so stupid Martha!' The Doctor also jumped up.

'Is that what I am? Stupid?' I screamed 'I guess compared to Miss Perfect I would be!'

'Martha, you know it's not like that!' The Doctor said 'I'm going back to the TARDIS. Meet me there when you've calmed down'

I watched The Doctor stroll into the distance as tears started to well up into my eyes to make the picture a blur.

I knew I'd never be her and I didn't want to be. I just wish he saw me with little faults and the little faults he did see he loved them the same as my qualities. I wish he dreamed about me and then awoke feeling on top of the universe. I wish he hoped that we would travel together forever.

I wish he loved me. No, not just loved me. I wish he loved me the way I knew, no matter how hard he denied it, he loved Rose Tyler.
