Chapter 7: Date part 2
(Temari)
We headed out to some restaurant for our date. I was in shock because Shikamaru offered me his hand and he never let go. The whole way we walked hand in hand. He didn't seem to be phased by it though. I wonder if he was just acting for the date or he really wasn't embarrassed to be holding my hand? The odd thing is that Naruto wasn't even attempting to match up to Shikamaru.
We arrived to the restaurant and Shikamaru was actually nice enough to move my chair. Before we had left for this date I had myself convinced that I was probably going to talk to Sakura the whole time because it wasn't a real date. That wasn't the case.
"You look really pretty by the way," Shikamaru, said to start off the conversation. "Uhm thank you." "Look I know it don't seem like it, but I really am glad you get to stay a couple extra days," Shikamaru said. "Why is that?" "Well I enjoy spending time with you." I looked at him not believing what I just heard. "w-why!" "Hey I have an idea how about we leave them two alone. It looks like they are getting too lovey for me heh." We stood up and Shikamaru said "Hey were going to head out its getting late."

We walked hand in hand. I couldn't help notice how beautifully Temari's teal eyes lit up from the moon. She then looked at me and said "You never answered my question why you enjoyed spending time with me." He sat me on a nearby bench so we could talk.
"Well I like spending time with you for a few reasons. You actually don't get bothered by my laziness." "Heh we it could use a little bit of improvement," I chuckled. "Anyways your not complicated like the rest of these girls. Do you wanna know why I acted so different on this date. I see how you are always working hard at being a Shinobi and you always care for you brothers. I think you disserved to be treated like a lady for once and I wanted to be the one to do it."
It was now or never I had to go in for the kill. I grabbed her hand and said, "look these past few days have been trouble some. Your independent and strong attitude was trouble some also, but it was a troublesome sticking around for. I guess I don't know how to go about this but…" "Heh oh just shut up and kiss me." Temari then pulled me in and kissed me with full force.
I was in utter shock, but I quickly fell into her spell. I placed my hands on her waist. Her lips were so soft I could help but try to push my tongue in her mouth. She gladly let me in. After a long kiss we finally broke the kiss.

"What did we just do?" I asked. "Believe that was a kiss Temari," Shikamaru chuckled. I slapped his shoulder and said "I know that, but what does this mean for us?"
