The darkness surrounded me as I can't escape. No matter where I run it always catches me. The painful screams and cries fill my head as I try to block it out. The sounds of pain are building up in my head, just waiting to break me.
'Wake up.'
It was the only voice I could make out with all the screams in my mind.
'Miss, wake up.'
As fast as my feet would carry me, I ran for that voice. Where? I don't know…
'Miss Anna we are here, please wake up.'
Without warning the ground was gone and I was falling. Before I hit the ground, I woke up.
My eyes shot open in confusion and in fear, thinking I was still in a dream.
"Miss Anna?" the man with caramel hair and green eyes said, sitting on the other side of me.
"Yes Allen?" I replied to my butler, still trying to compose myself.
"We have arrived at the phantomhive estate my lady."
"Ah, so it seems…"
It has been years since I saw my childhood friend, Ciel. The last time I saw his is when I was 5.
Glancing out the window I caught site of my reflection on the glass; my pitch black hair is shoulder length and my bangs covered one of my eye on the left side. The other eye was lifeless with a dark shade of purple. My skin was pale and I was wearing a simple black dress that goes a little pass the knees.
Allen got out of the carriage first to help me step down off the carriage. On the front of the manor's doors stood Ciel Phantomhive and a butler clad in black the shock on Ciel's face gave away over how much I changed, of course I wasn't the joyful happy girl I was anymore. Even though I am only 15. The shock came and went not even for two seconds. 'I guess he changed a lot too, after all he did lost his parents...is that an eye patch?' "It's been a long time, Anna." Ciel greeted me in a bored like tone. "It has." I stated back just sounding heartless and uncaring. Little works were spoken as the butler in black led us to ciels study to talk over business and a cup of tea. Ciel sat beyond his desk as I sat in front. It was silence for a minute until Ciel asked a surprising question.
"Why did you come back?"
"Huh?"
"Why?" Ciel pressed on.
"To become the Queen's raven." I said to cut this conversation off.
"I want your main reason."
"Why are you wearing an eye patch? The last time I seen you; you weren't wearing one." I replied, still trying to avoid my reason.
"None of your business now tell me."
"An answer for an answer, you tell me yours and I will tell you mine."
Then we were silent until the butler in black and Allen walked in with the tea and snacks. Time passed in almost silence until it was time to sleep. I was just getting ready to sleep until I heard a knock at the door and it just happens to be the butler in black. "Everything fine, Miss Anna?" He asked with no emotion in his voice. "Yes, fine." I replied. He nods, Bowes and just about to leave the room. "Wait. I never caught your name." "So sorry Miss Anna, my name is Sebastian michaelis." I nodded and he left. 'I don't like him...' I thought to myself. As soon as my head hit the pillow, darkness one again engulfs me.
