A/N: All I wanted was a sweet two parter for Dawson/Tilly but oh no, it couldn't be as simple as that. I wanted to concern the issue of the possibility of children. Then my roomie and I just had to watch Indiscretions and well, naturally we had to analyze it to try to figure out how Tilly would react only to give a toss to The Raven with Nick returning as the bad guy, Amy as his Watcher, and Tilly given the impression that Dawson is cheating on her because he's failed to mention that Amy is his daughter. In the meantime, I bring you this bit of dialogue.

Methos couldn't figure why Joe was all smiles until he told him which blew him away.
"Amy called me dad."
The Old Man chuckled. It broke out Dawson's dimples, making that grin go all the way up to his eyes.
"Really?"
"Yup,"
"That's great Joe, I'm really happy for you."
However, his lack of the evidence was contrary in his voice, Methos took a sip of his draft.
"Could ya sound a little bit more enthused."
"Well, while you were out gallivanting with your long lost daughter, here, Tilly thinks you're getting bored of her, she actually has the nerve to think you were cheating."
"On her? I'd never…"
That's when Methos gave him that look. The one that Joe liked to punch right clean off that 5000 year old face. "It was that one time." Joe held up a finger to indicate as such.
Methos cleared his throat to correct him.
"Al'right, 'member that second time, really wasn't my fault." Joe pointed out in his defense. "Bet didn't inform me she was married until she fucked me. Thank ya very much."
"Fuck you very much." Methos mocked him, chuckling all the while.
"Oh har har," followed The Watcher.
"I've learned from my…" Dawson had to be careful on which word to choose here. Otherwise, he'd have to take in consideration of Amy's existence. He not dare do that. Joe didn't want to jinx it.
"Experience," Methos piped up in his thoughts.
"Exactly,"
Amy was everything he'd ever want in a daughter. She was far from a mistake. He was seeing how perfect she was as he made up for lost time. Amy was allowing him to, and considering that she was calling dad was one hell of a step forward. He was thankful that kid had more of her mother in her. The only problem was that he hadn't told Tilly yet because he just wasn't sure how his girlfriend could handle this kind of thing.
"You have to tell her sometime Joe." Methos advised. "Tilly is a smart girl. She'll figure it out eventually."
Joe sighed heavily. "What am I suppose to tell her Methos?" he demanded. "Oh hey honey, listen, you know my Watcher friend Amy? Well, guess what? She's more than my friend. She's my daughter."
"You're not giving Matilda enough credit," Methos said. "That happened how many years ago? She wasn't even thought of, so as far as I can see it, your argument is invalid."
"Invalid he says," Joe replied with a ha. "My ass."
"Try again." The Old Man suggested with a smirk and a tip of his glass his way.
As much as he hated to admit it, Methos was right. Tilly needed to know, but how was the question? The Watcher had to figure it out. Sooner rather than later. It'd sound a lot better coming from him than someone else.
