Rose and the Doctor were relaxing after an adventurous event took place earlier that day. They were able to help save a planet from crashing into their sister planet. Rose was sitting in the captain's chair messing with her hair, while the Doctor was tinkering with the TARDIS. While Rose was playing with her hair, she thought of what would happen if she didn't except her invite onto the TARDIS. She probably would have continued dating Mickey. Their relationship went south while traveling with the Doctor, but they agreed to stay friends. He might of even proposed, there was always that possibility if might happen. If it did, she would have moved in with him into his flat or have gotten a bigger flat to start a family. For a job she probably wouldn't go back to that shop the Doctor blew up, maybe be a temp for different companies since she really didn't do too well in secondary school. Her mum would be a reluctant to let her go though, because Jackie has always been the one taking care of Rose. On the bright side she would have and extra room to do whatever she wants to do with.
Snapping back into reality, Rose decided it was time for a snack. She got up from her seat and peered over the railing to look for the Doctor. He must of heard her because her was right there looking up at her. "Do you need something Rose?" He asked. She shook her head. "No. I was gonna ask you if you wanted a snack, like a banana or something." She said. He nodded his head agreeing with the snack. "A banana sounds great." He smiled at her, and she smiled back.
She walked to the kitchen searching for the fruit tree. Plucking a few bananas, not sure how many the Doctor wanted. She came back to the console room finding the Doctor sitting in the captain's chair. She took the spot next to him and handed the bananas to him. He smiled and took them from her hand. "Thank you Rose, your the best." she put an arm around her and pulled her in for an embrace. the sat their quietly eating their snack. Rose wanted to know what would the Doctor be doing if she never came so she simply asked.
"Doctor, what would you happen if I didn't come with you all those years ago?" she looked at her hands, afraid of what he might say. He looked down at her with disbelief in his eyes. "Why would you ask that?" He said softly.
"Because I have been wondering what would happen if I declined your invitation for seeing the universe with you, even though I don't understand why I would reject it..." She trailed off uncertain what he would say next.
"I probably would keep traveling by myself, nut we both know what would happen if I never took you. I would probably die during the battle against the Dalek emperor, I would have never regenerated and I wouldn't be sitting her with you. Don't worry about silly thing like that. I'm just glad you chose to come." He smiled softly and puled her in for a full hug enjoying their time together. After awhile Rose pulled away and sat their with her lazy Doctor, knowing he won't stay still very long. She chuckled to herself about her thought. "Im just glad I came." She said softly. The Doctor looked down at her and kissed her head, happy that she also came.
