Hik...hik...hiccups
"Curse these damned hiccups!" Haibara quietly screamed, her hands grabbing crayons from her cuby. "What's wrong with our ice queen?" Conan teased, waiting for Haibara in the middle of the classroom. "Kudo... *hik* shut up" Haibara threatened, now next to Conan. "Fine... tell me everything you have tried to get rid of them." Conan gave in showing concern. "Everything *hik* I know of, people *hik* have even tried to scare m or surprise *hik* me, but, it doesn't work." Haibara explained, frustrated at her having to stop speaking every 10 seconds. "Why not?" Conan bluntly asked, trying to hide the smile in his eyes behind his slightly tinted glasses. Haibara pushed some of her strawberry blond hair out of her eyes before speaking. "Have you forgotten? I'm a *hik* scientist, you..." Haibara had been abruptly cut off by Conan's lips crashing into hers. He then, stood back and smiled as the whole class stared at the pair, "I think I surprised you..." he gloated. "Ummm... thank you Edagowa-kun, you have seemed to cure my hiccups..." Haibara blushed walking away, her heart a mile-a-minute.
*end of that day* "Kudo...Umm... about earlier... i will have to ask why you even thought of kissing me in the middle of the classroom today." Haibara began, not knowing exactly what to say to the boy. "Well, i was thinking of... of... of kissing you, and how it would feel." Conan explained. "Thats all?" Haibara pryed knowing their was more to the story. "Well I wanted to get rid of your hiccups, and then kissing was just an added piece of it..." Conan whispered. "Is this your way of confessing?" Haibara asked flustered. "Well, Haibara I have loved you ever since I saw you that first day at school, then learning that you were the creator of APTX 4869, you just ended up intriguing me even more. So, yes this is my way of confessing my never-dying love for you." Conan admitted, his face low. "Kudo... I love you too... more than you will ever know!" Haibara yelled, pulling Conans face to hers and making their lips meet in a kiss.
*the next day at school* "So... you guys are dating?" The detective boys all asked. "yes" Conan smiled. "but...but Haibara, you promised me at the mansion when Conan went missing, that you didnt love Conan. THAT YOU WOULD NEVER EVEN DREAM OF IT AND THAT I HAD NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF!" Ayumi yelled, tears flowing out of her eyes. "Haibara you are just a horrible liar!" She finished, running away. Haibara ran after her, "Ayumi, that was 4 years ago, and think about it, how much do you know about Edagowa-kun? You 2 never could have gone out, you just don't know that much about him, and face it you are much closer to Mitsuhiko and Genta than Conan." Haibara chased, causing Ayumi to turn. "I know... I just thought I might have a slim chance with him, sorry for the outburst... we shouild probably get back to the boys!" Ayumi apoligized leading Haibara back to the intail spot of meeting. "Are you ok Ayumi?" Conan asked unsure. "Yeah me and Haibara worked it out.' Ayumi gleamed, before randomly grabbing Mitsuhiko and kissing him on the cheek. "Mitsuhiko, would you please do me the honnor of being me boyfriend?" She gently asked. Mitsuhiko shyly nodded in response, leaving Genta to whine, "Hey, I'm all alone now, I don't hasve anyone to date, but, I will always have food!" He cheered causing the group to laugh until, they heard a scream...
