It was a normal morning for Isabella, princess of Forks. She woke up feeling very rested. Isabella hugged her silk sheets as she groaned to get up. The princess got up and went over to her huge wardrobe to pick out a dress. It was a powder blue and had long sleeves that went past her wrists. After she was done dressing herself, for she did not let others dress her, Isabella walked to the dinning hall for breakfast.

Her parents were the normal King and Queen type. They lived together, but did not love one another. Her father, King Charlie, was very proud of what he had done for the kingdom. Like how he had avoided famines when other kingdoms had not. Isabella's mother, Queen Renee, taught her how to sow and be a proper young lady. Amanda, Isabella's younger sister, loved the royal life and loved being pampered while Isabella loved to be outside learning how to sword fight or how to ride a horse. She loved to work with the servants and help them with their jobs. She did all of this is secret of course because if Isabella's mother knew of any of these things, she would be in a lot of trouble.

That's why this morning Isabella was taking a big risk asking her parents a certain question.

"Morning Mother, morning Father," Isabella said to her parents.

They both nodded their heads in acknowledgement of her. The Queen was making small talk with Amanda and the King was talking with a squire about something. Isabella took a deep breath and braced herself for what would happen next.

"Mother, Father. I have something to ask you," Isabella said.

Her mother and father stopped what they were doing and looked at her.

"I want to go to a public school for a week. I am asking for your permission to go. Now I know that there is nothing there that I haven't already learned, but I want to go and experience it," Isabella half whispered.

Her parents were both shocked by what they had just heard. But the King was the first to speak.

"I think that is a brilliant idea and you should go next week," the King told his daughter.

"Really?! Thank you father!"
"Wait one minute!" the Queen yelled, "My daughter is not going to PUBLIC school. She is to stay here and be brought up like a proper princess!"

"Dear, I thing that this would be a great opportunity for Isabella to see what her country is like outside these walls. Let her go," the King pleaded with his wife.

"Yes, but there are normal, low class people there. They know only on ounce of what Isabella knows. It simply won't do," the Queen argued back.

"I am only going for the experience not the knowledge," Isabella protested.

"Please darling just let her go. Would it make things better if Amanda went to?" the King asked.

"What?!" Amanda and Isabella screamed together.

"Amanda isn't cut out for normal people! Plus she doesn't even want to go!" Isabella yelled.

"Exactly! Please let me stay here!" Amanda pleaded.

"That's fine. Isabella and Amanda will go to, dare I even say it, public school," the Queen said.

This was not what Isabella was expecting but she was so happy that she got to go that she didn't care that Amanda was coming too.

"Thank you so much!" Isabella screamed bubbling with joy.

Amanda was not so happy, but she decided to not say anything about it. Isabella got up from breakfast and ran to her room. She was do excited for what was about to happen tomorrow.

If she only knew…..
