Disclaimer: I don't own anything to do with Camp Rock or Romeo and Juliet.

AN: This one is for LaPaige who gave me Prompt no. 17 - Enemies and Shane/Mitchie. I'm sure this isn't what you were expecting and I'm really sorry. I do like Romeo and Juliet and any thoughts that may be presented, are just me being weird - I love the book, I really do, Also, sorry for any facts that may be wrong - it's been a long time since I read it.

"Mitchie, I don't understand this!"

She sighed and snapped her book shut, turning to face him. "What exactly is it that you don't understand, Shane?"

He slid off of his bed and joined her on the floor pulling his book with him. "Romeo and Juliet! How can people say it's one of the greatest love stories of all time? I mean, seriously, their families are enemies and would probably do just about anything to keep them apart and they fall in love with each other not knowing that, and around four days later, they die!" He said all this very quickly, not even stopping for a breath.

"How is that a great love story? They die, because their parents are enemies!"

Mitchie took a deep breath in. "Shane, it's like, they love each other and would do anything to be together, so when they think that the other is dead, they don't even hesitate to take their own lives," she explained.

He rolled his eyes. "Mitchie, I get that bit, but how could their parents do that to them? I swear, our kids are going to marry whoever they want!" he exclaimed.

Mitchie looked at him, raising an eyebrow. "Our kids?"

Shane blushed. "Well, yeah. I'm going to marry you someday, and I'd like to think we'll have kids eventually," he mumbled.

Mitchie smirked at him. "And what makes you think my parents would let me marry you? They might still think you're the bad boy of the press and think that you're a bad influence and they might even ban me from seeing you," she said, looking at her nails and sounding as though she didn't care.

Shane looked aghast. "They can't do that! I'm not their enemy, I'm just in love with their daughter!"

Mitchie burst out laughing. "That's pretty much the same thing to my Dad, Shane. But, I promise, I won't let them ban me from seeing you, okay, Popstar?" She said, still smirking, but leaning back to rest her head on his shoulder.

He smiled slightly, still looking slightly worried. "And you have to tell them not to think of me as an enemy," he said.

Mitchie rolled her eyes but nodded in agreement nonetheless. After all, she was planning on having him around a lot longer; it might be a good idea to talk to her Dad before Shane decided to do that and start rambling on about Romeo and Juliet and enemies to him.
