A/N: Before you read this, let me tell you this: I'm not EXTREMELY into poetry. I don't like writing poetry, and I only wrote this because it was homework. But, I was pretty happy with this one, so I decided to put it up on here. I mean, if I got a good grade on it, it can't be that bad, right?

On the moonless night of Hallow's Eve
A young girl saw a sight she couldn't believe
On the ground, she saw her parents bodies
Lifeless, their bodies ripped to shreds
By monsters, looking for food before bed
In the shadows of Hallow's Eve
The young girl tried so hard to not believe
But as she kneel there, covered in her parent's gore
She felt her life will be no more

Now over a decade later, look at her now!
So strong! So powerful! So beautiful as well
Commanding monsters, for long I wondered how
But you saved me with them through the powers of Hell
So now, I devote my love to only you
No matter what, I shall follow your shoes
So now, my dear Alice, on this Valentine
Will you be forever mine?

"So my dear Alice, what do you think?" Decus asked, setting aside his piece of paper and picking up a rose from the table, handing it to his beloved.

Alice sat on her couch in her room, staring at Decus. She took the delicate red rose from Decus, stood up, threw it on the floor, and stomped on it.

"Did you seriously waste my time reading me that stupid poem!" she yelled. "That was the worst thing I have ever heard! Now get out of my room!"

Decus sighed. "Why do I even try?" he muttered. He dragged himself out of his room and stood outside in the hallway. He faced Alice and asked, "So is that a no?"

She got up and stood in front of him. "I believe that's what I just said." she said sweetly. Then she slammed the door as hard as she could, leaving Decus standing outside the hallway.

Decus let out a huge sigh. "And of all the days, too." he said to himself. Then he smiled. "It doesn't matter what day it is! She'll be in love with me sooner or later!" Feeling pumped, he ran to his room to plan his next love attempt.

Meanwhile, in Alice's room, she was attempting to try and resurrect the flower with healing magic. Finally, the flower began to retain it's perfect form. She quickly looked for a vase, filled it with water, and put the rose in it. She grabbed the poem and gave it a hug. She then put the vase on her windowsill, folded the poem, and put it next to the vase.

"Thank you Decus..." she whispered to the rose. "I wish we could be together, but showing love would be showing weakness, and I can't afford that. But don't worry, I'll be strong... for both of us..."

A/N: I told you it may possibly be bad, but I hoped you like it. This is possibly the only piece of poetry I will ever write.
