Fish
"What ya doing?" came the familiar voice of her CO as she turned around to face its owner.
"Going to wash!" she said in a matter of fact tone.
"Carter," he started, "we have been here for 2 days and we haven't fully checked out what is in that water yet." He finished looking at her face, the corners of her mouth turning into a sly smile.
"Fine then sir, you and Teal'c are just going to have to come with me to check it out!" She said cocking an eyebrow at him.
"Ok; we have to get you back to the SGC though. You're starting to get a little too relaxed." He said overtaking her and heading towards the lake, Carter not following immediately. "Well are you coming or not?" he asked looking back over his shoulder.
"What about Teal'c?" she asked catching up with him.
"He went hunting 3 hours ago!" he said obviously.
"What? I didn't notice!" she said slightly concerned.
"You were asleep, for once. I didn't want to wake you. Sorry." He said to try to reassure her.
"I forgive you, seems that time has caught up with me here," she said allowing a smile to show through again.
"Its about time!" he said sarcastically.
"Why don't you go and fish or something?" she said in a mock angry tone.
"Now, now carter none of that tone, I could bring you up on insubordination you know!" He taunted a look of triumph on his face.
"Yes but you wouldn't!" she said smiling sweetly at him "plus I'm on vacation" she added with a grin on her face and walking on ahead.
"Well in that case Sam, want fish for dinner?" he asked with a matching grin on his face and walking with her towards the water.
'This was going to be an interesting week.' They both thought as they reached the water and sat down.
