(A/N: A while ago, I posted a poll asking who Leah should be with. I think three people voted for Mike. So this is for you. I don't really like Leah imprinting, but I thought it worked in this. Enjoy!)
Unexpected
He was the last person Leah expected to imprint on.
Just a regular human being, completely oblivious to the world of vampires and werewolves that existed right under his nose.
Leah loved him.
In a way, it was wrong for Leah to love her imprint like this after imprinting had caused her so much pain, but she liked the feeling of being complete, of finally having something to live for.
He'd laughed in a pleasant way after Leah told him about vampires and werewolves, and muttered something about Bella, but he'd believed her.
He liked to race her, even though they both knew that he had no chance of winning against her.
She liked the way he was always smiling, even though she should have hated it.
They balanced each other out, somehow.
Leah never wanted to imprint. She never even expected to imprint.
But, for once, imprinting had done her some good.
