ORDERS ARE ORDERS

It was a cold November morning, especially since the motel didn't have heating. Liz rolled out of bed and pulled on a few layers, trying to trap in the heat she'd collected from the blankets. She pulled on her boots and walked out to her car and drove to a restaurant, waiting for Jay.

Before she had gone to sleep, he'd said he was going to visit Bobby (They were across the country, so it would be earlier there) and then check heaven for orders. That usually took a while. So she just waited. It wasn't too much longer before he walked in the door. He had a file under his arm. He sat, placing the file on the table. She picked it up and began leafing through it. She raised an eyebrow and sipped her coffee. "Are they serious?" She asked him. He nodded gravely. She put the file down on the table. " We've done some crazy things, but this?" She said, looking at him questioningly. He shrugged. "What choice do we have?" He said. She set her coffee cup on the table. "True, but since when do they send us to send us to clean up hells messes? Usually it's their own." She said scowling. Normally, they were sent for rogue angels. This was a demon, and a powerful one it seemed.

"Besides, we haven't even finished the other case yet. I thought that was top priority, I mean this Castiel guy seems to be causing a lot of trouble" She stated. Jay nodded. A few days ago, they had been given a case on an angel named Castiel. He had rebelled and was working with unsanctioned hunters, and killing angels. True, so did they, but that was there job. He was just supposed to watch out for kids. The orders were to find and kill. Bonus if they got the hunters to, but that wasn't the focus. Jay shrugged again. "I know, but what are we gonna do right? Besides, they said to leave the angel case alone for a bit. They are going to try and talk him out first." Jay replied.

Liz stabbed at her pancakes. "Fine" She said before biting into her food. Her face lit up. "What's the name of this place again?" Liz said staring at her pancakes. "Nebraska" Jay said. Liz rolled her eyes, regretting teaching him sarcasm. "I meant the restaurant" She said. "Harvelle's Roadhouse I believe. He said. "Well whatever it is, they make great pancakes." She said stuffing more in her mouth as the blonde waitress asked if she needed more coffee. After filling it up she flashed a smile and walked back to the bar. Liz finished her meal and left some money on the table. They had a hunt to do.
