Memory
The room was pitch black when he returned. Outside, the sky would turn a vibrant powder blue in a few short hours and he couldn't get her off his mind. As he lay down, his mind was bombarded with thoughts of her.
The night they'd first met; her in a beautiful dress and he a drunken fool stumbling down the alley. They'd shared so much in their time together, done so many horrid things. And now she was gone. She'd given him new life, a new vision and he'd taken hers away. All he had now were the memories.
