Smile
They both looked in surprise at the fire issuing forth from their grasp. There was no pain, no discomfort as the fire continued to burn between them. Her eyes shone with tears as she looked to him and smiled.
She tried to give him everything in that one look; all the feelings she had. She may not have fallen in love with him but she still loved and cared deeply for him. And here he was sacrificing himself for her, for the world. The flames grew more passionate as tears fell from her eyes. It embodied everything they were.
