Hawkfrost padded through the thick snow, looking annoyed. "Squirrelflight, what is this about?" He asked.
"Okay, here we are." Squirrelflight sat down beside the completely frozen lake. "I'd like to give you an offer." She turned to Hawkfrost, smiling.
"...An offer?" Hawkfrost tilted his head. "What type of offer?" He looked slightly uneasy; Squirrelflight was acting too nice.
"Remember that one time last moon I attempted to kill you?" Squirrelflight asked.
"YES!" Hawkfrost snapped. "I've still got the scar!" He shouted, his tail lashing back and forth. "But what does that have to do with anything?" He asked.
"Well... I told you that in the future, you'd have to do something for me, in exchange for me sparing your life." Squirrelflight replied.
"..Yeah, I remember that too." Hawkfrost growled. "So, what are you going to make me do?" He asked.
"Well, you're going to work for my company for the next moon and a half!" Squirrelflight replied.
"Your company?" Hawkfrost asked. "What company?"
"The Squirrelflight Stunt Company." Squirrelflight replied, cheerily. "I've only got three employees. You, Lionblaze, and Ashfur!" She grinned.
Hawkfrost stared at her for a second. "Have anything else?" He asked, blinking a couple of times.
"Mhm! You could collect thirty trillion acorns for me, so I can buy a better building for the Squirrelflight Stunt Company!" Squirrelflight replied.
"..Eh, I think I'll go with the first option." Hawkfrost replied.
"Good!" Squirrelflight meowed, a huge grin on her face. "Follow me!" She padded off, towards where a huge twolegnest could be seen in the distance.
Hawkfrost noticed Squirrelflight was leading him dangerously close to the lake. Normally that wouldn't have scared him; He was a Riverclanner. He could swim.
The problem was, the lake was frozen, and when it had frozen over, the lake had been polluted.
So, the ice had prevented the lake from becoming pure again. If he fell in, and the ice broke, he'd likely get very very sick.
"Eh, Squirrelflight.. Don't you think we should get further away from the l-"
He was cut off suddenly, as he slipped on the snow and went crashing through the ice and into the lake.
He quickly swam back out of the lake and onto the snowy bank, spitting out the very dirty water.
"What was that?" Squirrelflight glanced back at him, ear flicking. "Oh! Right, I'm sorry! I forgot how thin the ice was."
Hawkfrost coughed a bit, and then got up, glaring at Squirrelflight. "You'd better hope I don't get sick from that." He hissed.
"Nah, you won't!" Squirrelflight turned around and continued bounding in the direction of the twolegnest.
Hawkfrost rolled his eyes, and continued following Squirrelflight.
"Great. I'm soaking wet, it's freezing out here, it's snowing even harder now, and I'm in danger of getting deathly ill!" Hawkfrost hissed.
"Stop complaining, you sound like a little she-kit who's lost her mother!" Squirrelflight glanced back at the tom.
"Hey! Take that back!" Hawkfrost hissed, loudly. "I'm a full grown warrior! And a TOM!" He added, glaring at Squirrelflight.
Squirrelflight didn't reply, the next thing she said was completely unrelated.
"Hey look! We're here!" She turned to Hawkfrost, grinning. Behind them was a giant building with a huge sign that read: 'Squirrelflight Stunt Co.'
"You need that big of a building for four cats?" Hawkfrost looked up at the very tall, wide, building.
"..No. I thought I'd get more employees than I did." Squirrelflight shrugged.
"Leafpool was going to do it. And then she remembered that she had Medicine Cat Duty during the time she'd be at work here."
"Oh." Hawkfrost replied, as they both padded inside the building. He glanced around; there were different platforms all over the building.
Lionblaze was busy climbing up a hill of rocks, trying to get to the mice at the top.
At the bottom of the hill, was a whole bunch of sharp rocks and broken glass. Ashfur was sitting there, supervising.
"Hey Ashfur, Lionblaze! Meet our new employee!" Squirrelflight shouted, very very loudly.
Lionblaze came tumbling down from the hill, while Ashfur jumped out of his skin and whirled around.
"Squirrelflight, don't do that!" Ashfur hissed, tail fluffed up. "Oh hi Hawkfrost! Squirrelflight managed to sucker you into working here?"
Hawkfrost started to speak, but Squirrelflight inturrupted him. "It's part of a deal I made him a moon ago." She explained.
"Oh, I see. Well, Lionblaze will show you around.. Eh, Lionblaze?" Ashfur turned towards the other warrior, who was just now recovering from his fall.
"Say what now?" Lionblaze got up. "Show who around?" He glanced to the side and noticed Hawkfrost.
"Oh! Hi Hawkfrost, I suppose you're the new employee Squirrelflight's been talking about?" He asked.
"Yep.. Unfortunally." Hawkfrost replied, tail flicking back and forth.
"Don't worry, it's not that bad once you get used to it." Lionblaze grinned. "Come on, I'll show you around."
Hawkfrost nodded, and followed Lionblaze. "How long have you been working here?" He asked, tail flicking.
"The moment Brambleclaw fired me from his wrestling show. He said I was too 'good'." Lionblaze rolled his eyes.
"..My half brother has a wrestling show!? Since when!?" Hawkfrost asked, staring at Lionblaze.
"He never told you? That's funny!" Lionblaze laughed.
"..Remind me to talk to him about that as soon as possible." Hawkfrost hissed, tail flicking back and forth.
"Sure, Sure." Lionblaze replied. "Oh, here we are. This is what you'll be starting on." Lionblaze stepped to the side.
There was a large tree growing up through the floor of the building, and under it sat a large rock.
The tree had a branch that was sticking out further than the rest of the branches.
"The point of this is...?" Hawkfrost asked.
"You're supposed to jump off that branch and onto the rock below, try and land on your paws though!" Lionblaze explained, cheerily.
"Eh, that sounds.. dangerous?" Hawkfrost took a step back.
"It is. We're stuntcats! We do things that actors and actresses are too scared to do!" Lionblaze replied.
Hawkfrost looked up at the tree, nervously. What have I gotten myself into?
