Fallen Angel

One rule: Vampires and angels cannot fall in love with each other.
I brushed a strand of my pink hair out of eyes and looked at myself im my mirror. The first thing you'd probably notice is my pink hair. Next is probably my too big forehead. Then, my jade eyes. You would realize that I'm pretty. But you wouldn't that I'm an angel.
Not that goody goody 'I'm-so-perfect-and-do-the-right-thing' kind of angel. I mean the 'I'm-dead-serious-and-I-could-seriously-kick-your-butt-if-I-wanted-to' kind of angel. But don't get me wrong; I can be a vary lovable person.
Oh, sorry! I haven't even told you my name yet! It's Sakura Haruno. I'm 16 and I'm currently a sophomore at Konoha high school. Nobody knows my secret, and I plan on keeping it that way. If the Elder Angels found out that I'd told anyone my secret... I would have my wings ripped off. Yes, I have wings. They are actually very large for a teenager like me. Each is about 5 feet long, and still growing!
Of course I keep them hidden. Every now and then I stretch them out and when I want to put them away, I focus really hard and they disappear into my shoulder blades, leave tattoos that faintly look like feathers. When I'm in a swimsuit, I just say it's a birthmark.
The Elder Angels are made up of 10 of the most powerful angels in the heaven, 5 woman, 5 men. All young, beautiful, and handsome, though their thousands of years old. Over 12000 years ago, the Elder Angels fought a Great Was against the vampire creatures from hell, along with millions of others. All because an angel and a vampire broke the #1 rule: they fell love with each other.
The Elder Angels were furious. The angel had broken the ultimate rule by falling in love with a 'bloodsucker.' and that started the first Great War. Thousands upon thousands of vampires and angels died, because 2 people screwed up. Personally, I think it's a load of crap that a war, a freaking WAR started, all because of love. I mean, come on! If you love someone you love someone!
You see, angels and vampires have this instinct. When you see a certain someone, your hit by a shock that runs through you like an electric current, and you know that 'This is the person I want to be with forever!' (Some went for werewolves but they were killed off a long time ago.) That's what happened to the 11th member of the Elder Angels. She found her soulmate. That's what their called. Soulmates. Except her soulmate was a vampire.
They weren't the only ones, either. Lots of other angels and vampires became soulmates, and when they, uh... got together, you could say, they created humans. HUMANS!! Angel+ Vampire Human. Weird, huh? But totally cool.
Sometimes when you find your soulmate, sometimes you DON'T want to be with them. But the thing is, once you find your soulmate, you'll never be TRULY happy without them. Confusing I know. But, the cool thing, (which helps when you can't talk in class!) is that soulmates can read each others minds without even trying.
But here's the thing. I've found my soulmate, and he's found me. The hottest guy in my school (and possibly on the planet) is my soulmate. Dream come true, right? WRONG! Why? Because my soulmate is a vampire named Itachi Uchiha. Know him? I don't think so!
