Brennan Mulwray flashed a seductive smile at the attractive redhead. Then, he leaned over and executed the shot that had been set up on the pool table. The balls went into different pockets.
"Wow. You're really good," the girl complimented.
"Thank you," Brennan said.
"Could you show me how to play?" she questioned.
"Sure," Brennan replied. He reset the table, and then came up behind her, showing her how to hold the cue and how to shoot. What the elemental didn't know was that his girlfriend, Shalimar Fox, a tall blonde and a feral, was watching them. Her eyes flashed yellow as she her boyfriend cuddle up to the other woman. He said something and she threw her head back in laughter. He helped her set up a shot and then execute it. She squealed happily and jumped up and down, clapping her hands. Brennan laughed and pulled her close. Finally, Shalimar had had enough.
"BRENNAN!" she snapped. He turned around to see the woman walking towards them.
"Shal," he said.
"Who's this?" the redhead demanded.
"My girlfriend," Brennan admitted. The girl pulled out of the embrace and slapped him.
"Jerk," she said, and then walked off.
"That sums it up," Shalimar commented.
"Shal, it was a perfectly innocent pool game, I swear," Brennan assured.
"You were flirting with her, Brennan," Shalimar snapped. She headed out to the parking lot, Brennan running to keep up.
"Shal, Baby," he said. She just ignored him and got on her bike, and then drove away. With a sigh, Brennan got into his car and headed for Sanctuary. Shalimar arrived there first and headed into the workout room, causing Lexa Pierce and Jesse Kilmartin to come out in curious surprise. When Brennan came in a few minutes later, Shalimar had already begun her routine.
"Shal, come on. We need to talk about this," Brennan urged.
"What's there to talk about, Brennan? You were all over that tramp," Shalimar snapped.
"Ouch," Jesse said.
"Shal, Baby--" Brennan said, reaching out to touch her shoulder. However, Shalimar spun around and gave a kick to his chest.
"Whoa! And I think that's our cue to go," Lexa commented.
"Uh, yeah," Jesse agreed. They hurried out. Brennan groaned.
"Ow. Don't you think you're blowing this out of proportion?" Brennan queried. For an answer, the feral merely kicked the elemental repeatedly.
"You're my boyfriend, Brennan! Mine!" she exclaimed between shots. "And no one else gets to touch you!" she continued, the attacks continued until he was against the wall. Before Brennan could stop her, Shalimar pinned him and kissed him roughly. As she did so, she scratched his neck with a nail, a feral marking her territory. Brennan made a noise of surprise, but reciprocated the kiss. He let his hands roam up and down her arms and she pressed against him.
"Now…who's boyfriend are you?" she murmured.
"Yours," he answered.
"And nobody else's," she confirmed.
"Man, I love it when you treat me rough," he told her. Then, they kissed again.
