Apocalypse, Twilight Style
Some say the world will end in Fire,
Others say in Ice
Fire its love inspires
But Ice is twice as nice
Fire makes a healthy glow
Ice can make a winter's snow
Fire is so hot and warm
And Ice is a relieving storm
Fire or Ice I cannot tell
And with these words, the thoughts do swell
Ice it is to cold and hard
But Fire's sure to burn the shard
Ice with its pain receding
Fire's there for the relieving
After a while the Ice comes back
Highlighting what the Fire lacks
Fire and Ice now they must wait
On the edge of a great debate
Some say the earth will end in Fire
Others say in Ice
For now the Swan will be the pyre
Frozen or burned
And in imperfect harmony, they will have to learn
To work together push and pull, up and down
Day and night, don't hit the ground
To save her life through stress and strife
Fire and Ice
