"OK listen up everyone!" Kate clapped her hands and the group immediately fell silent, all eyes on her. "From now right up until the competition, we expect you to be working on a duet to perform so you will need to choose partners."

Once Kate had given the details the dancers dispersed, finding duet partners.

Daniel located Giselle, "Hey, do you want to be partners?"

"Sorry," Giselle shook her head, "I'm already going with Miles."

"Oh," Daniel tried to hide his disappointment. He had been rather excited by the idea of doing a duet with Giselle. Since she hadn't managed to get into A-troupe Daniel had seen less of his best friend and he was a bit hurt that she hadn't planned to partner up with him.

"Sorry," Giselle apologised again. After seeing the look on Daniel's face she regretted agreeing to be Miles's partner. However, the talented B-trouper had got there first and she had no intentions of ditching him.

"No, it's fine," Daniel shrugged and wandered off to find someone else.

Tiffany spotted him and grinned, "Hey, you wanna be my partner?" She suggested.

"Sure," Daniel agreed, glad to have found a partner so quickly.

Giselle's young sister, Franki, thought for a moment, not sure who to partner up with. Then she saw West. They had had great fun together when he had been in B-troupe. She walked over to him, "Hi."

"Oh hey there Frank," West replied cheerfully.

"Do you want to partner up with me?" She asked.

"I'm already with Stephanie, sorry," West told her.

"Stephanie?" Franki raised her eyebrows. Wow, a lot had changed since B-troupe.

"Yeah," West nodded.

"Guy!" Stephanie called over to him, evidently wanting to get on with the choreographing.

"Got to go," West said before joining Stephanie.

For some reason, Franki found herself irritated by this.

"Hey," Addison joined her, "Partners?"

"Sure," Franki shrugged. Addison was always fun to dance with too, even if his style wasn't quite as unique as West's.

Eldon looked at Emily, contemplating asking her to his duet partner. However, he decided against it and walked over to Michelle instead. She was a good dancer and had been very kind to him after Emily had publicly embarrassed him.

"Hey Michelle, do you want to be my duet partner?" He asked.

Michelle looked at him, surprised and delighted. "Of course," She beamed, glad that he had not chosen to go with Emily. Then she grinned, remembering the last time she had paired up with him for a duet, "I am your only partner this time, right?"

Eldon laughed, "Yeah."
