Mai comes home with a little gift-wrapped box.
"Sayaka-chaaan! I brought something for you!"
Sayaka looks up from sharpening her sword and lets out a little "Hm?"
"Here, here, open it!" Mai says, barely containing her excitement.
Sayaka takes the box, opens it, and looks at what's inside before staring up deadpan at Mai.
"Isn't this a collar? For pets?"
Mai's composure falters ever so slightly.
"No, of course not! It's ah new Western fashion trend! I saw it in a magazine and instantly thought of you!"
"Then why does it even have a little bell-"
Sayaka is cut off by Mai saying "D-Don't worry about that, let me help you put it on!"
She doesn't resist as Mai fits it around her neck, instead she looks slightly confused.
"There we go!" Mai says, practically beaming. "Sayaka-chan looks so cute like this!"
"I do?"
"Absolutely!"
It take Mai every ounce of self-control that she has to keep her from busting out the leash she brought too, especially after seeing how submissively Sayaka accepted the collar.
"Come on, Sayaka-chan!" Mai says, taking her hand. "Let's go show the others how adorable you look!"
"O-Okay."
