Pacey and Joey pulled their cars side by side into the jammed high school parking lot. Joey walked quickly over to Pacey's car.
She shivered. "I forgot how cold Capeside can be."
He stood up and locked his door leisurely. "Where do you live now, Joey?"
"L.A."
He nodded and they headed quickly towards the open gym door. There was a handsome looking guy, very business like at the door.
"Joey!" He cried once he saw her and enveloped her into a big hug.
She had no clue who this was. He seemed so familiar, everything from his brown hair to his smile. Like she could have gone out with him . . .
"Jack." She said to herself quietly.
He laughed and let her go. "I thought you forgot me!" He shook Pacey's hand. "Hey Pacey."
Pacey smiled but his attention was soon drawn too an unfamiliar guy heading towards Jack.
"Um . . . do you guys know that dude?" Pacey asked.
Jack and Joey turned to see him.
"Oh!" Jack exclaimed and motioned for the man to come towards them. "This is . . ." he laughed to himself quietly, "This is Greg. My uh . . . significant other, I guess you would say."
Joey and Pacey exchanged a look and then turned to Greg.
"Um Hi Greg," Pacey said extending a hand. Greg shook it and smiled.
"Nice to meet you," Joey responded.
Jack noticed the discomfort and was a little hurt by it. "Um Greg? Why don't you go and request something from the DJ?"
Greg nodded and walked away.
The three looked at each other. It was time to find Dawson, Jen, and well everyone else.
