Chapter 1 - The Palmtop Tiger's Secret
'Dear Ryuuji,
It's been a long time now since we last saw each other. How have you been doing?
I miss you Ryuuji.. I don't think i could live another day without you.
My mom was thinking about moving to the United States so i can enroll
Ryuuji, I want us to meet when we both graduate College and finally get married.
Wait for me like you promised.'
"Taiga.."He sighed.
"Taiga must be really lonely right now, right Ryuuji?" Ami gave him that faint look of dismay.
Kushieda on the other hand tried to cheer him up "Don't worry, Ryuuji!"
"Kushieda is right, you'll be able to see her soon." Kitamura smiled at him as he pats Ryuuji's shoulder.
"Ryuuji, how long can you cope up with this?" Ami interrupted
"What do you mean?"
"Why not go to and visit her rather than waiting for her for another year?"
Ryuuji sighed and kept silent making Ami obviously mad.
"Just face it! both of you long for eachother! so why do you have to wait for that long?"
"Ami.." Kitamura tried to control the conversation but considering Ami's Personality it was hard to contain it.
"Both of you are Cowards! if you guys really miss eachothers company, then do something about it and stop complaining!" She shouted angrilly.
"Just shut up Ami! this is not for you to decide!" Kushieda angrily replied with her fist clenched.
"Now now everyone just calm down." Kitamura pleaded
Ami slowly walked out from them "Right now Kushieda, You are the one who's not in the right place to say anything." She grinned at her.
"What do you mean?"
"Ami! What do you mean?!"
Kitamura and Ryuuji grabbed Kushieda "Let her be.."
+ Ami's POV +
She sat down by the corner of the vendo drinking her black coffee as usual. 'Idiots.' She mumbled to herself, pissed.
Ami wanted to be alone that she wanted to cut school. Cut school for the first time in her life, She wanted to avoid her 'FRIENDS'. It was all Ryuuji's fault. Why couldn't he stop Taiga from leaving in the first place? Taiga was as precious as Ryuuji was to her, but then again, she saw herself in Taiga. right now, Taiga treats her as one of her closest friend actually closer than Kushieda. After finding out that Kushieda also see Ryuuji the same way, Ami's rage towards Kushieda grew.
'how can you be so cold-hearted towards Ryuuji?' She bite her lip as she thought about Kushieda. "Ami." breaking the trance she was in, Ryuuji came up to her and tapped her shoulder.
"Why are you here?" She glared at him making Ryuuji sweat. "I just wanted to see if you are going to class, it's almost end of our breaktime.".
"I won't run the same way you did." standing up from where she was at and headed on to class.
Ryuuji didn't follow this time, He knew Ami needed space. She was greatly affected of what's being happening lately. Everyone is concerned about taiga and him ever since Taiga chose to stay with her mom. She said it was for the better. He agreed to it too cause they both needed to finished college and graduate to get a stable job. "I was just doing what she wanted me to do.. I don't want her to suffer because of me.." Ryuuji sighed sadly.
'it was sudden.'
The class was about to end, they barely talked at all. Ami was already packing her stuff when Kushieda tried to approach her, She quickly got up from her seat and head on to her locker and change her shoes.
Ryuuji and Kitamura asked Kushieda to let Ami cool her head off for awhile, She agreed.
