"I'm bleeding out, so if the last thing that I do is bring you down, I'll bleed out for you,"

You knew you had to die, you knew it all along and you couldn't stop it. It wasn't the end of the world; if all went as planned, your dream self would be fine. You could maybe even go God Tier if you got the chance. The only thing you worried about was Jade- your best friend, the girl you trusted more than anyone else, the girl you loved.

"So I bare my skin,"

When the bullets hit, it hurt, sure, but you could handle it. You had to, for her. It must be hard enough for her to see you die. It must be even harder to know that she's the one who killed you. You knew she'd be broken, but hopefully you'd be there soon enough to console her. Maybe, just maybe, you could even tell her how you felt. Maybe you could be together after the chaos.

"And I count my sins,"

You fell. With about ten bullets embedded in your chest, there's no way you could have stood, no matter how hard you tried. The second before you fell, you could see her turn around. Her angered expression turned to one of horror in a heartbeat once she realized what she'd done. If you could speak, you would have told her not to worry, that everything would be okay in the end, and that you love her more than anything. You wish you had the strength to be there for her.

"And I close my eyes and I take it in,"

She dropped to her knees beside you, tears quickly filling her eyes, but not quite falling yet. She could tell you were awake; she could tell you were in pain. You closed your eyes in hopes of relieving some of that pain for the both of you. You wished you could just die already, but making her think you weren't in agony sounded like the best course of action.

"Dave…Dave!" She shrieked as she shook you some more. You had lost most feeling by this point.

"I'm bleeding out,"

Your shades were taken off long ago so she could see your eyes. You couldn't move to fight against it. The landscape was so much brighter than you'd ever seen it, but it was quickly fading. The beautiful greens of the trees fading to white, the purple humming birds disappearing; but the most distressing was the Jade green eyes looking down at you fading to white. You could feel your breath slowing, feel your heart rate dropping, and feel the sorrow of her aura. You tried to mutter an "I'm sorry," but it was far too late for that. You had stopped breathing, stopped functioning entirely.

"I'm bleeding out for you, for you."
