Maybe one day
She's gorgeous. Amazing. Perfect. A little bit of a know-it-all but even that's something he loves about her. He loves everything about her. Her frizzy hair, her timid looks into every mirror she's walking by, how she can forget about the world around her just with a book in her hands, her big smile when she's laughing about one of his jokes, the way she almost closes her eyes when she's thinking about something, her little nose, her body, her hair.
Fred is in love with Hermione. He have known it since the first moment they met and now, five years later, he's still in love with her.
Since the first day Fred saw her at Hogwarts he have (day)dreamed so many moments with her. From just holding hands to kissing her to have sex. He wants her so badly and it's not like he haven't tried to come closer. Several times he made allusions and a lot of "unwittingly" touches but all he got were confused looks and a few insecure smiles.
They're changing looks, having fun together and getting along really good but still he don't have the courage to tell her how much he wants her. That she's the only girl he can think about, the first girl he sees in the morning and the last one he sees before falling asleep. What if she doesn't feel the same? Would it be the same once she knew how he feels about her? Besides there isn't just his lack of courage to speak to her. There are his little brother Ron and his mum too. If Hermione and he would be together Ron would always be there to check if she's alright with him and after every little fight he would have a fight with his little brother too. If Hermione and he would be together and break up someday Ron and his mum would be so pissed off of him that it would be best to never come back home.
Well, all these things don't matter so far but maybe one day the day will come where Fred and she would be together and then he could think about all his worries. Maybe one day when Hermione finally realizes that Fred's in love with her. Maybe one day..
