My name is Annabelle Martin, my friends call me Belle. I'm 18, I go to Swarthmore College and I have a secret that could get me killed if I'm not careful.

My steps were silent as I crept through the empty hallways of my dorm. I could feel the it calling me, the moon. Its bright white light beckoning with promises of life, prosperity and happiness. Its sweet melody guided me towards the back door of the dorm building telling me that the night was the only place where I truly belonged. I suppose it wasn't wrong about that. I never felt fully accepted anywhere, not at home, school or even with my friends.

I opened the heavy metal door to exit my dorm building and the intense light from the moon fully enveloped me. I released a sigh as all of my tensions left from my body and I gave into the change. The pain first started in my fingers. That was the worst part. I grimaced as my human fingernails turned into werewolf claws. The skin underneath my fingernails complained as it reluctantly moved to aside accommodate the hulking claws that were almost five times thicker and seven times longer than my fingernails.

I felt the blood coursing through my body heat up and pump faster to allow the enhanced speed and strength that all werewolves possessed. My canines elongated as my gums stretched open to allow my teeth to change into fangs. I closed my bright blue eyes and rolled my head back to loosen my neck. Finally, I felt all the changes click into place and I knew I was home. I opened my eyes that had become a bright yellow due to the werewolf effects. I closed and opened my hands and ran off into the night.

The cool night air whipped through my short brown hair as I sped down the streets. I didn't stop running until I made it to the creek past the opposite side of campus from where my dorm was. I could hear the water flowing over the rocks from half a mile away. My feet started moving faster until they were splashing in the water around me. The frigid water rose to my midcalf. Any human would have shied away from the temperature of the water but it didn't affect me, my body temperature ran slightly higher than the average person. I looked up to the stars, the bare branches of the trees above me slightly blocked my view.

The stars were brighter tonight than they had been in a long time. It seemed like they were almost excited about something. The sparkle of a million stars above me put me at ease, so much so that I sat down in the creek, content to stay there for the rest of the night with the water flowing around me, the moon illuminating everything around me and the stars beaming down on me.

The moon slowly fell below the horizon as a new dawn began. I stood up from the creek where I had stayed all night as the werewolf effects began to reverse and I turned back into somewhat of a human. I made my way across campus as the brisk air softly flowed around me, the orange sunrise developing in front of me. I was tired by the time I got back to my dorm. My feet began to drag and I couldn't wait until I was back in my own bed and could sleep until the early afternoon.

I started to walk up the stairs towards the back door I had left from earlier that night just as a deep voice rose behind me, "Morning wolf."

I froze, fear instantly coursing through me. My breath sped up as I slowly turned around to face them. It was the faces of Death, as my father used to call them. Every monster knew that if they came knocking at your door, you were dead. I felt sick to my stomach as I took in the guns that they were both holding in their hands, no doubt filled with silver bullets intended to pierce my heart. My eyes drifted up to their faces as my breathing quickened. I took in their cold, unyielding faces and I knew that I was going to die.

"Winchesters." I whispered under my breath.
