Edmund's POV

Where is Lucy when I need her! I think as I run down the long corridor, in the "Royals" wing and skid to a stop in front of Lucy's room. I knock once and then twice. The door flings open and a flustered looking Lucy stares at me.

"What can I do for you, Ed? I was just about to get into the bath!" She says and looks at me, then around and back at me. She pulls me in and sits me down on the bed before I can say anything.

"We need to get rid of her Ed! She is not right for him!" Lucy slightly yells at me.

"Who?" I ask and she looks at me if I was crazy.

"You know! "Lady" Kathy! She is not right for Pete!" Lucy says back.

"What did she do this time?" I ask. Our brother Peter is "courting" the youngest daughter of one of the lords on the council and she hates Lu, me and Susan. If we do the slightest thing wrong she goes off at us and we cannot make sense of it. When we mention it to Pete, she walks into the room. Even though Pete says he HAS to court her, he does not like her. Or her father for a matter of fact!
"Are you listening Ed?" Lucy's voice fills my head.

So we discus a plan to humiliate her in front of everyone tonight. Susan is holding a ball for no reason…

~Later at the Ball~

Lucy and I are dressed in similar attire. Lu is in a pale blue and silver dress. Suited her for the twelve year old. And I in silver leggings and pale blue tunic with silver embroidery and a gold cape with a red lion stamped on it. Very much me. "Lady" Kathy was of somewhere talking to a rich lord and a hand shot out of nowhere and hits me on the shoulder. I look around and Jasmine is standing there looking at Kathy.

"Lucy told me the plan. I'm game!" She says and I nod. We all go around to Kathy and she is just saying to the lord in a very loud tone.

"Peter's siblings are just horrible! Edmund, is the worst, he is finished eating before anyone else has started! And he says things he should not say and know. It is like he is a spy or something. You know, I think he might be a spy, for some other county. "

"Ed! Don't!" Lucy says. She puts a comforting hand on my shoulder and says, "You should know, Lady Kathy, not to speak ill of your Kings and Queens. That in this country is a few nights in the dungeons!" The look on Kathy's face was worth all of what she had said. I realised were we where and looked around at the large crowd. The ball had stoped and was looking at us.

"You know Lady Kathy; I think that High King Peter would love for you to repeat what you just said. I think you and your father should be leaving this room and or castle this very night! What do you say Peter?" I say/ask. She's got it in for her now! And Peter goes off. And by the end of the night everyone was laughing.
